I wouldn't say "trump" this time. It was packed with games but it was missing that "WOW"-announcement.
I really expected announcements from Sony's european developers ...but at least they did a conference in the first place. And Shadow of the Beast could turn out pretty huge, hopefully they have big plans with it. (in terms of budget)

This game looks so lovely ...but why didn't they show that trailer during the press conference? I thought they want to push interest for the Vita?
Yeah and Shadow of the Beast could turn out pretty awesome ...but what in Kevin Butlers name are the first party studios working on??? Microsoft can really thank Sony for being so quiet right now.

One of the highlights of this conference which was packed with games ...still I was expecting way more AAA game announcements.
Really? The presentation is incredible and the stages look truly next-gen but the actual gameplay looks boring as hell. I'm really not trying to troll here but imo the multiplayer of GoW: Ascension (which is the only comparable MP at the moment) looks more spectacular and how do I put it ...fun.

After the not so spectacular E3 conference my expectations are really high for today, don't disappoint me Sony!
My guess is that M$ support will end in 2015 sometime and X1 will become a multiplat-console like the X360 ...while PS4 will be actively supported at least a few years longer.
^With an inferior console that's being abandoned after all exclusive deals ran out? Have fun playing FIFA and CoD in 2017 while others are enjoying first party exclusives.
Tell that Microsoft, they started it with GTA4, CoD and Skyrim if I remember correctly. Instead of investing money into game development they rather invest into this kind of stuff.
It's great for Xbox buyers but it also shows that Microsoft doesn't intend to change the manipulative tactics they used this gen for next gen any time soon. So calling it "sad" is definately justified imo.
As always, M$ doing what they do best, luring people into buying a Xbox. Wouldn't surprise me if this turns out to be true, they'll be defending their market share by any means necessary ...even if that means paying tons of $$$ for such deals.

Nobody wanted to use Origin before now there's a reason to buy there ...so Steam has to counter that with something similar to keep people away from Origin.
You can get them pretty cheap from asian ebay sellers but they definately need an official price cut.

But it somehow helps explaining the stubborness of some Xbots around the web, they even deny the facts sometimes.
Yeah of course they are coming but really, Sony had the chance to win the war of exclusives already ...Gamescom is the perfect opportunity to tease some new AAA games. Maybe Sony is waiting for VGA to win over the US crowd, or the projects simply aren't ready to be shown yet ...but I have expected more than this honestly.
