Completely agree, and this is coming from a hardcore non-biased gamer here... i own 12 Xbox Consoles across all 3 generations of Xbox, and well over 1000 games......
360 was freaking awesome, but i am severely disjointed with Xbox One, especially with regards to single player games and offline usage.
I'm actually pretty excited for this game,
Mechanically MGSV was freakin awesome, so putting those mechanics in any game i would be excited.
Don't care for the politics of Konami, but if the game is good people....just enjoy it.
Perfect fit.
Hey it could have been Resetti people
Hopefully they mean single player OFFlINE.
If its solo MMO online only crap i won't touch it
I love me some SOCOM but god damn Ghost Recon Wildlands fits that gap pretty damn well friends.
Cos i love playing unfinished games...
To be fair didn't stop Ark....didn't stop 7 days to die....
I love linear games
Sometimes a crafted experience guiding the player can change how the entire game is played.
Everything nowadays seems to be about lets please the player. Let them play how they want to play everytime. And this does work in some games but sometimes a single player level was designed to be played long range and if given a choice the player runs in with a shotgun.
I love older shooters like Medal of Honor because it was...
Not a big F1 or racing fan, but kudos to this developer for ADDING LAN support...
See Devs....You can make games work OFFLINE for multiplayer....
Now Ubisoft can you do the same with Ghost Recon Wildlands please...?
Funny, these have been on NZ retailers websites for weeks now.
Games > hardware
I consider myself non bias as i own all platforms and have done at launch for the past 15 or so years i play everything.
But xbox one has barely any exclusives, theres nothing going wow buy an Xbox One X for me.
The hardware is fantastic but lets be honest those same games at an awesome quality already sre available on other platforms.
Switch has exclusives coming out its ears as does Playstation.
...
Being a non biased gamer as well as a veteran electronics retailer, i would have to agree.
Hardware is great, but i play games...not hardware, they should have skipped development of Halo Wars 2 and primed Halo 6 for launch, Gears 5, or another big exclusive...no Forza....you don't count
Yup. I play everything on easy. I just like to enjoy the game world and story.
Some people like being railed hard dying over and over again to feel accomplished when they finish. Some of us don't feel this.
Some of us just want a piece of interactive entertainment to enjoy.
Halo 3 beta featuring bonus mini game Crackdown
Should have focused on single player instead of making it another online only multiplayer focused game
I do not and will not ever buy an online only game.
You are giving the game a expiry date. If i can't play it OFFLINE in 20 years time i don't want to own it ever.
I would be more inclined to buy a disc as well,
however for the general consumer a lot of people don't even know you could download PS1 games on the PSN for PS3.
a Disc would do well,
put on Crash 1,2,3 Spyro 1,2,3 and that thing will sell like Hotcakes
Why wouldn't you just buy the Xbox One version?
You can't control what happens in livestreams though,
Especially comments sections etc, a YouTuber can control what content they upload to be within the rules and regulations set, however if some idiot posts harassment or abuse in comments during a livestream etc this could cause major issues
Should have put in splitscreen instead
Complicated?
Kind of like your single player games and offline use this generation for non-online gamers.
For the people who say 'get a good internet connection and Xbox live' i do i have UFB Fiber and Xbox Live....
but servers close and game support drops. I DO NOT like my games having an expiry date.
This is why i refuse to buy games like Destiny and The Division ( and i think both look and play amazing ) because one...
