sadly the leaked specs of the scorpio seems to indicate that it wouldn't be possible.

third party releases is a must for drawing the casual crowd which is the biggest crowd in the industry. first party are the draw afterwards. if you have no third party then you are only left with the hardcore crowd, which probably isn't more than 10 mil at best for nintendo.
Well Salome of these things could be fixed in an update right? They ain't really serious mostly bugs and minor features that should be added. The thing which probably won't be fixed is human AI but everything else seems good.

Only bad thing so far is human AI sadly.
it's confirmed to be the game's install and not a patch on neogaf the guy has the game on version 1.00 so it wasn't a patch.

So I guess that it will be a franchise confirmed. Cool. Also minor spoilers from the neogaf thread: graphics are incredible as was promised and soundtrack is fantastic. The guy didn't get to the gameplay yet.
having a game mode (hard mode) being locked behind a DLC was a very bad choice. everything else is okay as DLC.
well either way the embargo lifts a week before release so it doesn't really matter
well i think that syndicate has set the stage for the modern world. it has also showed us the templars plans if i remember correctly so this may finally make the plot move again.
