dunno, for me it's a tie between nintendo and sony.
Nintendo: 3DS, zelda, donkey kong, kirby and the bunch on 3DS games like the remake of OoT and Star fox.
Sony: Twisted Metal, Portal 2 coming to PS3, Gran Turismo release date, Move proves that it's actually fun, plus the games we all knew were coming, killzone 3, infamous 2, little big planet 2.
Anyway, I won because I'm getting a lot of awesome games :)
I wouldn't be happy about the price being 250 but I would take the bite. a sweet price would be between 170-200 but giving the fact that it's a new system I think it would range between 200 -250, but it's nintendo and they are known for keeping their hardware relatively affordable so who knows, I'm still getting it regardless.
what are you talking about?! Sony should have just kept the free service "as-is" ??! THEY ARE. What they are doing is giving you the o-p-t-i-o-n to get a bit more and if you don't like it you can go back to the free service which will remain the same, do some research.
Of course it was a tech demo, but I'm a 100% sure that a Metal Gear for the 3DS is coming, someone like Kojima wouldn't even bother to make a tech demo if he weren't interested in making a game for the system.
Yeah I know what you mean about the free 3 months, but I decided to try it for a year because 3 months is not that much time to see if they actually are telling the truth about adding more stuff and features, so I see it as trying the new service for 15 months (3 free months and 1 year after the free period) at 50 bucks, so it's actually a pretty sweet deal and like you guys and I think, if the new service fail to impress we can just go back to the free service and continue to enjoy what&...
I'm going to give it a shot and sign up for 1 year when it launches, if I don't like what I'm getting I simply won't renew my subscription and continue to play online for free :)
Yes I completely agree, it's amazing what great developers like Kojima can do, I would love to see more support from devs towards the psp and make big games like Peace Walker or God of War (even though chains of olympus is short, but quality wise is amazing). Anyway I think the 3DS is getting tons of attention and a lot of love from devs and I hope whenever the PSP2 releases it gets the same attention.
I still believe Skittles ate Milo
just out of curiosity why do you think the PS2 version looks better?
Wow... definitely didn't saw that coming, I thought the graphics looked good but not sharper than the PS2, it's awesome what handhelds are capable of this days, I'm getting the 3DS day one but hopefully sony's PSP2 (if it's coming) get's an overhaul in gfx like the DS.
I don't know how making the switch between normal boots and the iron boots easier will affect negatively the game or going to piss people off, if anything I think it'll make the pace more fluid because like it or not, it was a pain having to pause the game and select the iron boots and do the same to take them off.
As long as they don't change ANYTHING on the dungeons it's all good
I agree, they are risking too much if this is true, but also I don't think many people would get on board with a 4th console, having the current 3 consoles is way more than enough gaming at least for me, and even with 3 there's always a console just gathering dust. If they really are getting into the console market again I wish them the best because love it or hate it, SEGA has done amazing things for the gaming world but it's gonna be extremely difficult to compete with Sony, N...
I agree, pretty much my top 5 plus the new zelda game and the release date of gran turismo 5.
yes, as of now it only works with small screens, but I read that the technology for bigger screens like TVs and monitors is on it's way, but don't hold your breath on it because it'll probably come in about 5-7 years.
3d doesn't work like that, you won't be able to see the effect through your monitor.
Yes, day 1 for me too. I think they are updating the graphics check this link to ign to see the pictures, it's looking pretty sweet.

I wasn't so sure about it, but it looks awesome!!!
I would love to follow that, but the reality is:
Good show from Sony, they did exactly what we all wanted.
Good show from Nintendo, they did what we were expecting and more.
Terrible show from MS, they tried to fool us with pre recorded stuff and we gamers don't like when companies try to pull that kind of crap.
I won't even get close to this game, not because it will suck or anything, I believe it'll turn out to be great but I just don't like Daniel Craig as James Bond, it won't feel right for me giving the fact that I used to play the original Golden Eye all day long when it was released, Pierce Brosnan was THE James Bond in Golden Eye and I feel cheated for the change :(, I mean it's like changing Link for [insert current popular character of your choice] in a "remake"...
