there are many reasons, maybe they already have an xbox360 or a ps3, maybe they just love nintendo systems, or like in my case, maybe during the holidays they travel a lot and a hand held is the best way to game while they're away from their home consoles, I'm really not attacking you or anything, it's just that I don't see what good would come out from handhelds failing.
if you don't like handhelds then why bother commenting on this article? If you want a new xbox360 go ahead, buy it and enjoy the hell out of it, but why would you wish that the 3DS fail? would you bother to explain that, there is a market for such devices, and it's a big one, being realistic the 3DS won't fail, it is impossible and it will sell millions the first 2-3 months whether you like it or not.

I like having the physical media more (cd,dvd, bluray, cartridges) I just feel like I do own stuff, but I also love collecting games and it's great to be able to show a sweet collection to friends instead of a HDD with everything in it, BUT I also like the advantages of having DD, so it would be awesome to have a combo (like many bluray movies these days) with the physical disc but with a code to also have a digital copy.

you can turn it off dude, there's a switch on the right side that can control the depth of the 3d effect and turn it off if you want.

I was on the fence about getting it, mainly because I haven't followed the Castlevania series but what I saw on that video was pretty cool and I'll definitely pick this up.
That's pretty awesome, the shots where he is playing the ocarina and standing near the lake are amazing, makes me wish for a more realistic (graphics wise) HD Zelda game.

having just finished playing the demo I can say that it will be a great game, the graphics are pretty amazing but not uncharted amazing as most people have been claiming and the climbing parts aren't as intuitive as they were in uncharted, all I did when I wasn't sure we're to continue climbing was moving the stick until the character did something:)!! naah dude :)!! I've had fun with every single silent hill, from the first one to shattered memories. each of them are different in their own way but that's what I like from this series, the variety :)
If I can buy a used car without having to worry about the carmakers going broke or not receiving my money then I can do the exact same thing with games. I buy about 50% of my games new and they are mostly exclusives because I know that I won't regret the purchase, the other 50% are used and multiplats, most of them great games but once in a while I get this feeling of great joy because I got a game for 15- 20 bucks that was crap instead of buying it for 60 on release and new.
