Glad I already reserved it. Jumping is great fun. A bit disappointed the dome lasts for only 30 mins, but I can understand they want people to go and buy it when it hits the shelves.
I absolutely despise it when people try to use the 1st gen vs. 2nd gen title argument. When HALO: Combat Evolved hit stores ALONG WITH A BAND spankin' NEW XBOX it looked as good or better than any PS2 title out there. And the PS2 was on what, 3rd or 4th gen? Give me a break.
Hands down, 360 and PS3 titles will always look about the same. I'm guessing that 360 titles will look on average a bit better, though some PS3 titles will look better when it's made by people who really ...
I never was able to beat Dracula in the original NES version... damn that double life bar!!
LOVE that moustache, by the way. Snake looks like Burt Reynolds or something. Wish he still had the mullet, though... the best styles of the 70's and 80's COMBINED! Behold the power of Snake!
That's another reason I decided on the XBox over the PS. I DO have huge hands. I loved the DUKE and the DualShock feels so... tiny. The 360 controller is just a tad a bit small, but it's the best fit for me.
This is about the best argument I've been for BR and gaming. And the only one so far that would have the chance to sway my opinion on the subject. Not enough to spend the extra dough, though...
I really wish I could cut and paste that reply of yours to half the posts on this board. Is grammar taught in school anymore?
a diehard PS fan who works for me to buy a 360. He loves his PS2, but in his words the 3 is way too expensive and he really likes all the things I've been telling him about my 360.
C'mon, I like MSFT and the XBox more than most, but it's rediculous for you to say that the disclaimer says NO REFUNDS, so tough luck. I have every faith that MSFT will make amends, but I'd be really p1ssed if I spent the 10 bones for absolutely nothing.
I am very surprised that with all of the delays on some items for "further testing and live certification" that something this huge was missed. Who fell asleep?
Both games are very good. I was surprised at how good DR was and would have liked to see a multiplayer. LP is really just sub-par levels leading up to GREAT boss battles, but its multiplayer is really fun. It looks like I'm going to be buying the next Capcom game for the 360 no matter what it is...
This guy may be out of it and completely insane, but remember Bill Gates also made the same type of mistake when he said something akin to "When the PS3 comes out, it will have Halo 3 waiting at its spawn point with a sniper aimed at its stupid f'ing head."
OK, my paraphase, but you get the point. Communication in large companies isn't the greatest sometimes.
THIS is the reason I bought a 360. This game is so flippin' good that my wife, who really has no interest in video games, played it for dozens of hours. Maybe PS3 people will see what kind of great games they can get with a 360 and come on over to the dark side! Hopefully the PS3 version will improve on some of the framerate issues the 360 version had when too much action was going on.
The rumors surrounding the PS3 that it may come without Blu-Ray are complete BS. All original games wouldn't be compatable and it would turn into an utter nightmare... parents trying to return the wrong version of the game to Best Buy and being denided because it's been opened and you can only exchange for the same sku (NOT the same title).
Please let that rumor die.
But it really is a fun game. Any PS3 owners should get it if the price is $40 or less.
Jan 18th if memory serves me. It may not, I've been drinking.
to get a PS2 for. This game does look really cool, even for a last gen game. A fantastic finale for the PS2. It really makes me wonder why they didn't aim to put this on the PS3, because I think it would have sold a lot of consoles.
This comment was made specifically to endorse Blu-Ray and Sony and I believe it's an outright lie.
In the meantime, this game holds zero interest for me. I played the Metal Gear game that was available on the XBox (can't remember the exact title) and was extremely disappointed. A fat man on rollerskates is a boss? Give me a break. The story was a mess of a joke and held no cohesion.
After fondly remembering the NES Metal Gear and how obsessed I was with it, I was v...
If you own a PS3, you owe it to yourself to get this game. I'll echo what everyone else has said in that the XBox version was a great gaming experience. Now THIS is a reason to get a PS3!
Dead Rising? It sold a few copies if reports are true.
Oh crap, now I can't play Guitar Hero II when it finally comes out for the 360. Here's to hoping Rosary Hero is coming out soon...
