A bit worried on the length, but it still looks worth the $60. I have mine paid in full, so I'm looking forward to spending a day with this and a case of beer...
MSFT is giving the love to Gamerscore Whores like myself. I like it.
I'm probably in the minority here, but I am a gamer and an opera singer. And yes, this is foolish marketing. I don't know anybody else who Sings/Listens to opera who also games.
Anyone else up for a video game based on "Le Nozze di Figaro?"
Really, I want this game now. Would have almost bought a PS2 until I discovered it was coming to the BOX.
And it has an Iron Maiden tune. Nice.
It is a good looking device, but I'd never get one. I don't need or want a cell phone, thank you very much.
I DO predict this will sell like crazy, no matter what the markup. I should go purchase some stock in Apple right now...
One of the reasons I bought the Zune was because it wasn't a phone. I still hate cell phones. Don't need 'em. The only time I ever carry one is when I'm traveling...
I'm not that important where people need to get a hold of me 24/7.
Mart says (I can't confirm the #'s) that MSFT lost $4B in 5 YEARS over the life of XBOX 1. PS3 has so far cost SONY $2B in less than 3 months.
This is horrific news for SONY, especially when The PS2 was their top $$$ maker. They have been hemorrhaging money in all of their other devisions. Look it up...
I'm starting to wonder if my choice in buying a 360 was a good one.
I'm not going to have any money left by the time the year is out.
It seems to me that the article is spot on when it says that the PS3 has more Japanese and Eastern style games and the Box has more Western style games. I personally am a big fan of the western style games... to me they seem to engage my mind a bit more, while eastern style games are more about "collecting." They leave ...
He mentions many things about the game that I really like in the demo, too. I am a bit scared the reviewer mentions he is just about done with single player in 2 days. Hopefully multiplayer has some great action in it with added mini games or something.
this fix didn't come sooner -- many of the small bells & whistles that most people take for granted are being added in 3 months after (US) release. Weren't these things discovered in the 2 or so months it was out in JPN? I still have faith in Capcom to produce a good game next time out, but it's a shame that I beat the single plater in about 5 hours and got bored/frustrated with multiplayer. The $30 in store credit I got for it went to Crackdown.
Everything looks great on first glance! Cant wait to explore the options on the improved site.
I'm really glad I bought the Hori DOA 4 joystick last year... it's AWESOME for arcade games that demand an 8 point joystick. Unfortunately, I don't think it's for sale anymore...
I just about crapped myself. OMG! The best JRPG EVAARR!!!!! Great stuff.
This game looks great. How about giving the love to the 360? I'd love to buy it again with all this great stuff added in.
I stopped playing JRPG's about 12 years ago. Has it progressed beyond a single button control scheme? With this type of game my experience has been, "Press the A button. Kill an enemy. Level up. Press the A button to kill a BIGGER enemy. Watch a cutscene. Drink a healing potion. Press A to kill another enemy..."
Give me some paper, pencil, and a d20 anytime.
That the pope looks JUST LIKE the Emperor?
But this time he tells the truth! The 360 is "expansive" he claims! Right from the mouth of Juvani. Great to hear he's come around.
Downloaded at 5 minutes after the hour it was released (4:05AM my time) and it was done at around 7AM.
And yes, I do have a cable modem.
Worth it? You bet. Can't wait to get the full version. Played the demo 3 or 4 times now til time ran out. Awesome.
Alex Kidd in Miracle world...
