I have bought another 360 for christmas actually and it's an Arcade, for the living room for my dad. I think the Arcade is great value for money, certainly much better than the old Core, i'll eventually shove a 20gb hard drive on it when I update my 360 to 120gb hdd
Xbox 360 is undoubtedly the RPG powerhouse of next generation systems, with hit after hit RPG releasing on the platform.
I am only capable of fighting the fandroid hive-mind and provide balance to the severe PS3 bias on this site thanks to my many fans and supporters who help me out by giving me bubbles and sending me fan mail and letters of appreciation.
Thank you all for your continued support.
Sony doesn't know what they're doing with the PS3, they lack focus and this is a major reason to why they are failing and why they have lost significant marketshare to the Xbox 360 and Wii this generation.
It's safe to say that Blu-Ray was one of the major reasons behind the PS3s abysmal performance this year.
Another great newspiece from the guys at XboxKings, thanks for the read!
PS3 a DISTANT third, only confirms what I have been saying all along.
Sony just hasn't got a chance against the Xbox 360 and its killer AAA lineup.
8/10 ANOTHER forgettable PS3 exclusive. Wait for the Xbox 360 version, which will undoubtedly score better thanks to superior online and its award winning controller and features such as achievements, trueskill and better graphics.
this will be another great JRPG on the Xbox 360. I thoroughly enjoyed Blue Dragon and Eternal Sonata and will purchase this day one
The PS3 continues to lag behind industry leaders, even after a massive $200 price drop in the consoles first year of the market, which is absolutely unheard of before unless the console is failing.
The PS3 is a sinking ship, just like the Titanic. It has been driven by arrogant Captains (Sony Executives) right into icebergs because they thought they could just slap a sticker on any old piece of garbage and it would sell.
PS3 = Titanic, Gamecube and Saturn in one....
this has a lot of promise. Renegade was a solid shooter, even if the tech it was built on was a little outdated at the time. With a next gen engine they should be able to accomplish something special
this will undoubtedly be Bioware's next hit Only on Xbox 360. I can't wait to get more details on the next Mass Effect or the new Star Wars project they are working on
Poor PS3, can't even run an old game like Half Life 2 properly! if people needed proof of the Xbox 360s superiority and power, here is yet another example why people are Jumping In rather than WA1T1NG B3YOND
This is great news for both Bioware and Xbox 360. Mass Effect has proven to be a hit new IP on the Xbox 360, with over 1 million copies sold already. This is yet another successful game on the Xbox 360, unlike the PS3 which has had all its new IP's bomb in the past 12 months thanks to poor software and hardware sales.
Yet another PS3 exclusive that could not resist the Xbox 360s superior hardware and software sales numbers. 3rd party devs are getting off the PS3's sinking ship like rats and Jumping In to gaming heaven on the Xbox 360.
I for one welcome the addition of Star Ocean IV to the Xbox 360s AAA lineup
wow you can tell Sony's CEO is a absolute crook just by looking at him. He could be a Republican politician.
Another PS3 exclusive that has bombed, while new and innovative IP's like Mass Effect on Xbox 360 have already sold over 1 million copies.
Poor Sony, PS3 owners don't buy games, they don't buy Blu-Ray discs, all the PS3 does is sit and gather dust and void their warranties.
and if MS wins this Xmas the game is over because Sony has no chance after this. And all signs point towards Sony coming dead last these holidays
If a $200 price cut/firesale in the first year of a consoles life won't work, nothing will
Great interview I am a big fan of Jeff Bell especially his recent Mass Effect video and interview last week with Major Nelson on Inside Xbox. He's definitely the guy that Microsoft needs to expand its audience outside of the 18-35 male audience.
Here is some of my favourite quotes by Jeff Bell from the interview:
"In fact, we saw incredible sales of Xbox 360 for the week of November 18, including Black Friday of more than 310,000 Xbox 360 in the U.S. alone. ...
Still being outsold in NA and Europe by Xbox 360 and Wii.
Want to know how you can tell if the PS3 is dead? if it doesn't sell at least 1,000,000 PS3s in the US in November like the Xbox 360 did in its first year.
PS3 = Gamecube and Saturn in one
It is coming to Xbox 360, it is inevitable. Only Xbox 360 provides developers and publishers with a true next generation platform they can actually make a profit on thanks to the hardware and software sales numbers of Xbox 360 SKU's and software titles
