i'm not the one brainwashed, the 360 did over 1,000,000 in sales in the US at the same point in its lifetime as the PS3 is at now.
These sales are incredibly poor, especially for a console that just got a price cut.

AC is for the hardcore mech crowd, it's not about flashy graphics or pick up gameplay. The customization options of the game simply are insane. I personally like that sort of stuff, so I am looking forward to this title

@guwapo if you had been following whatever news came out about hardware sales in Australia you would know that it has been beating the PS3 consistently and actually outsold the Wii for the last few months, though i'm sure the Wii will start outselling the 360 again like everywhere else.

PS3 games are coming on DVD instead of Blu-Ray simply because its far cheaper for publishers to do this and that no game really has utilized Blu-Ray yet unless they were lazy and left everything uncompressed or decided to put 12 languages on one disc.
Blu-Ray looks like its being abandoned for games, not surprising really.

360 outsells PS3 in nearly all markets in Europe except for a handful of countries, most important of those being Germany. But the UK, where 360 whips PS3 daily, is the most important EU games market with around 40% of total marketshare in Europe just for the one country.
