That conspiracy would be false. (At least I think so)
The Mighty No 9 partnership was announced ages ago so unlikely they'd delay it just to launch on this console.
I mean they could have.....? But very unlikely.
Probably Team Ninja would be the one to work on that as it was a Tecmo brand originally. But I'm not sure if they plan to bring that back.
Hello All,
This image should help demonstrate how Grand Theft Auto V has performed to prior games in the series.

@PrinceKai
It's the holiday season boost.
The last official Xbox One number we do know is 5.1 million as of March 31st 2016. After this they only reported Xbox One and Xbox 360 numbers combined so it's been a bit of a guessing game. Hence why I've created two charts here.
Hi Rookie_Monster,
Thanks for the welcome and kind words.
The Wii from Nintendo was indeed a 'beast' as you say, and for half of that graph Nintendo were pretty much selling everything they were shipping. Wii broke the mold and was the fastest selling console of all time, it's an absolute miracle that the PlayStation 4 is tracking so close to it.
As to whether the PlayStation 4 will overtake the Wii, (within that chart) I don'...
Yup. I couldn't agree more.
The day that Amazon finally tells us how many Fire TV's and Kindles they've shipped is a good day for the industry........
.......
Oh, you meant a different company?
Hello all,
Every quarter it is a tradition that I create a few charts to show how the 8th gen consoles are doing when compared to prior gens. So here is a comparison for PS4 vs other consoles.
This graph does not have a line for Xbox One as we do not know official sales.

This graph includes ESTIMATED Xbox One sales. (Not official)
...
Actually the Chinese console can play any disc based game as well which is good :) So you can import.
But yes, sales are poor and even import unit sales aren't great. It's likely that it is around the same as Chinese console sales. So maybe 1m total based on what I heard.
But that is unconfirmed rumour so don't believe me on that haha!
Thank you.
I hope my English wasn't too bad!
Unfortunately not.
The only bit of data we know is that the Xbox One is over 100,000 units, but that the PS4 is in the lead.
So that's a very broad range. Nothing specific.
500,000 units for PS4 and XB1 combined according to Oriental Pearl (The distributor company in China).
It's mentioned in the article ;)
Cumulative sell in of GTA 5 had reached 54 million as of June 30th 2015. I doubt it'll be higher than 60 million at this point.
GTA Online.
Rockstar have worked out that you don't really need to work on Story DLC when you can pour more resources into Online DLC and updates for players who continually play the game (all 8 million of them) and are willing to buy cash cards. It's why pretty much all the DLC is free. Because the monetisation model in place for GTA Online is working well.
The fact that 2/3rds of Take Two's revenue over the past 6 months has come from GTA show...
I'm not sure how you read in to the first and third tweet you posted but none of those two tweets said anything about global sales.
Chartz are not accurate at all. N4G should ban their numbers.
Just for further reference-
Over the past 12 months (November 23rd 2014 through November 22nd 2015) the PlayStation 4 has sold through 15.8 million units to end users. That compares to the 14.4 million sold through between November 15th 2013 and November 22nd 2014.
What you're looking at is a Yen value, not a unit shipment. If you go to slide 20 (pg 20) you can add up the unit shipments. FY2013 was 7.5m btw.
Basically the issue in China right now is that games take ages to localise and some big AAA games are censored/blocked by government.
These guys want to bring AAA games to their console quickly from foreign companies + Domestic companies and also bring all the well known Chinese IP to their console. Therefore they appeal to mainstream Chinese gamers etc...
Most likely it'll fail though :P
