With folks offering $50 off the $150 Arcade model--I couldn't resist picking up another one. Replaced my old Xbox in the bathroom. Someone was bashing the new 360 for not having Blu-Ray. So far I played one Blue-Ray movie on the PS/3. But I tend to stream all my media.

How do glitches like a mission starting with everyone running out to get on the horses--only the NPC's have no horse to mount and just stand around make it through play testing...

Sadly, Blizzard/Activision are using the same model for StarCraft II. StarCraft II will come in the three parts--each costing $60 for the PC. So look forward to paying $180 for Starcraft II.

GT5 is the Duke Nuke 'Em of the racing genre. Forza is holding me over just fine until GT5 is released and reviewed. Folks are acting like GT5 is the best game ever even before it is released. Definitely the most hyped game--too bad you can't play hype.

If I read correctly, the roommate is the one griping. The female in question could have done a number of things up to turning off the console. But she didn't. WoW is filled with stories where boring dudes get their girlfriends to play WoW. The girlfriends meet new guys in game and kick the "roommate" to the curb...

It has been said thousands of times before--the piracy measures put in place by publishers do nothing to defer piracy. If anything most of the measures encourage piracy. The people impacted by the piracy measures tend to be the honest consumers.
While the PC is by far the best platform for playing shooters--better controls, mod tools, etc. A good video card costs more than most consoles. Hence, the masses will always own consoles and only consoles. Most folks that stick with consoles come from households with PC's incapable of playing the latest games. Giving those folks the added benefit of not knowing what they are missing.

I scratch my head sometimes at posts touting a PS/3 over a PC or something else... I'm far from "rich"--but what serious gamer doesn't have four or five gaming platforms? Always thought it was normal to have a PC, Xbox, PS/3, Wii and something portable. Oh well--I guess for a few folks having multiple platforms is too much to handle...
Sure hoping Operation Flashpoint is good! I'll be skipping what is it COD6 (COD:MW2)? If MW2 does well--every other publisher, no matter the quality or scope of the game will suddenly be raising their prices to cover development costs. Maddem2011 will be next.
I'm more a shooter fan than a driver--but I thought I had been following this story. The MS/Team 10 employee basically pointed out in the neogaf forums that there had been three releases of Forza between GT4 and GT5, right? Or did I miss something?
