Mass Effect 2 was inferior in story and RPG elements and I enjoyed the first alot more in terms of story despite its performance issues (which I had none personally) and just because the shooting system was not up to typical shooter standards it was unfairly judged as a shooter when it was an RPG first and foremost.
I felt it was more important Mass Effect retained its RPG elements instead of optimising the shoot...

trying to gauge the volume of players is an impossible task because you cant predict just how popular the game is going to be hence there being a lack of servers to help with the huge traffic numbers so they are going to add as they go so they do not waste money on resources.
Every game developer does it these days to save costs in maintaining and running online servers.

beyond the Empire Strikes Back (not directed by george lucas) star wars is not really anything great in terms of the films, I find the expanded universe material far better than any of the films and the games used to be great but have taken a recent slump.
Halo has a rich universe but it would need to expand itself greatly to even scratch the surface of having the amount of content the SW universe has.
They are already outdated by PCs, if the new consoles are going to be anywhere near as powerful as PCs they are going to have to be pricey.
The one button win has been around in ubisoft titles for a while now.

Yes it could be more difficult, I myself am sick of one button win games that practically play themselves with very limited interaction but wallets vote and seems people enjoy simplistic controls and interaction so long as it rewards the player with flashy on screen animations or set pieces.
yes and lets just assume hollywood is going to give a film good treatment and do loyal fan service instead of going for a mediocre action film with the generic elements of every blockbuster.....yes because their profits dont factor into it at all.

Its marketed very well as being a must have gadget for the average family home but its severely limited in scope compared to what it could do.
I just find it to have nothing appealing at all besides a few childish gimmick games (kinectimals) and other such products which are of very little quality.

Im indifferent to the idea as I find console gaming to limited in scope and creativity for my tastes due to the power of the consoles.
Halo 4 will probably be good for a month then once the hype train dies down it will be just another FPS that could be so much more that is held back by technical limitations.
With DICE it would have the worst netcode imaginable.
