So they offer what PCs already have? ok cool except for:
- mod support
- multiple control inputs
- configuration of graphics
- key mapping
etc etc I could go on but Id really like to see consoles become more about the consumer and be a bit more open allowing for things like mods because Skyrim is a perfect example of the PC being the best platform, It is a decent game by its self but with mods it is amazing.
I will pr...
Crytek, so much potential with their engine squandered on linear shooters.
At least one guy is doing something interesting and ambitious with it, check out Star Citizen, it is an ambitious idea but it is innovating with the cry engine.
Man I just do not get this whole competition attitude of people today trying to justify their purchases or future purchases.
Just play what you enjoy most, I enjoy PC the most but I do love my Sony single players and I will definitely be picking up a PS4 and upgrading my PC.
@rupee
It was no longer a personal account when he marketed the game through his twitter and is also replying to only positive feedback through twitter.
He is simply displaying massive amounts of contempt.
People are severely uneducated about being in shape.
These buzz words like "fit" thrown around do nothing to help anyone.
This is incredibly ironic in that the amount you eat in terms of calories is the real factor.
If you are on a caloric surpluss, more than what your body needs you will put on fat weight and if you are lifting weights you will put on muscle as well.
Realistically the only thing people have to do ...
@ujean
And now its just become the game to like because it goes against the grain and popular opinion.
The only people who will defend it are those who are incredibly defensive of their purchases or those who see themselves as a special little snowflake for liking it.
Fanboys just make a competition out of everything because they have this obnoxious belief that the thing they purchased was the the best and people will defend their purchases to the death.
Nobody likes being told money was not well spent.
It takes a back seat because of embargoes and black listing, imagine you are a small publication and you get black listed so you get no more review copies or exclusive previews....who is going to bother giving your site the time of day when you dont have up to date news on games?
refer to my above post.
meh not supporting EA and their average games.
I wish Crytek would break away from them and make a game that is something ambitious rather than just saying "look at us with the most unoptimised game that needs a ridiculous nivida setup to run."
No thanks jeff, I don't want to see a classic series I enjoyed as a kid get destroyed by capcom.
trust me, it really is unbearable for any long time aliens fan who cares about story, characters and overall the presentation of the xenomorphs, the very fact there was 3 levels shooting nothing but humans says it all.
id argue that a game with this level of quality to get a 4 is a more than a paid for review.
Its a 0/10 for me, its not a game....its not finished, its a disgusting festering mutated abortion, lines of aborted code floating around wondering what to do with itself while it pauses for a moment and you bemusedly shoot it in the face and put it out of its misery.
AVP 2010 was actually a great little title, I found the multiplayer fun and addictive and fairly skill based.
It actually innovated unlike colonial marines with a unique melee system and a fairly gratifying way to finish your enemies with awesome finishing moves.
The gearbox abomination does not hold a candle to it.
I am a massive Xenomorph fan and I pre ordered it on steam and stayed away from the hype train because i thoguht it would spoil the game and well the game spoiled itself.
Broken AI, corridor levels, terrible graphics for a 2013 PC title, motion tracker useless due to tunnel level design, aimbot human AI.
These things are all things that are factually wrong with the game.....then to add my opinion on top.
Terrible characters, terrible juvenill...
Its because publishers have these review sites by the balls, initiate some common sense here people.
It may be the righteous thing to speak out against broken games, but if you give bad previews to games and you talk bad about them before release then they blacklist you and you don't get any previews, no pre release copy, basically your coverage of that game is shut down and if you are black listed by one publisher then they all will look at you as a potential sale loss a...
unfinished, broken AI, horrible presentation, bad voice acting, simplistic plot, aim bot human AI, small closed in straight corridor levels negating all use of the motion tracker.
Sorry 6-7? u wot m8
I dont really see how the move improves gameplay necessarily, to me it just made tasks I could easily perform with a controller more complex.
I suppose it is good for a few motion focused niche games but motion controls are not the future or at least they are not advanced enough to give us the control range equal to a controller.
What SONY should really look at is that VR headset John Carmack is developing, now that has some practical use in that it intensifi...
Im going to go drown my sorrows on AVP 2010, a game that actually has working xenomorphs.
What a garbage developer they are, releasing such broken products then have the gall to charge for a season pass....
WHo are they trying to fool here? I was stupid enough to pre purchase the game on steam purely because it has xenomorphs but that is where my stupidity ends.
Same old shooter, same old game I've seen a million times before which is not adventurous in scope and it does nothing new.
It is just a big piece of shiny and everyone is being suckered in by it because graphically it looks good.
Same story with Killzone 3, graphically it looks good for a console game but its story was terrible, the characters atleast the ones not portrayed by the excellent ray winstone as Admiral Orlock and Malcom McDowell as Stahl were...
