Yeah, the ad really wasn't very good...
No, it's still too much.
With the way Capcom handles DLC they can afford too.
(edit)
Ohh, so it's a raffle? well who really thought "Capcom" was gonna give stuff away anyway.
Thanks for the heads up, this'll be a rental for sure.
Agreed, I miss the Dreamcast :( Most awesome flop ever!
Ouch... I thought this game mite not live up to the hype but 4/10...
I'll hold my final judgement till I actually get some hands on with it, but personally I was really expecting a lot more from this game.
It's only a problem if you don't like what they are doing though right?
For those who are getting what they want out of Nintendo it's a good thing.
I hardly ever buy games on their release day and I have never pre ordered.
It's just too dame risky unless you're a huge fan of a franchise or know you'll love the game despite any possible shortcomings.
The best thing to do is read (reliable) reviews and if you're really not sure look for lets play videos, etc, the sheer amount of mediocre titles that get released each year and go on to be successful purely because people are purchasing them ...
"to each there own I guess"
I do agree with that statement, but I wonder if it really is that simple... The whole point of the reboot was to reach a broader audience, now regardless of the current economy that didn't end up happening.
So, where to go from here? Carry on with the reboot and hope more people get interested in the franchise? Or admit defeat and carry on the original cannon that was niche at best?
Either way you'...
You know what, if they wanted to breath new life into the franchise then why not just make the new Dante the originals son? in DMC1 after defeating Mundus Dante says to him "Goodbye. And when you do come back, give my regards to my son will ya!"
They could have made that work but nope... had to reboot the franchise and piss everyone off...
"Transcend Death" is the only one that really makes sense in terms of what the game is about.
Why not just stick with the original tag line "prepare to die"? if it's to appeal to the casuals then just say "prepare to die... less" lol
"no one really whants the crappy WiiU!"
What about the people who've bought it already? what about everyone who is planning on buying it??
Just because you have no personal interest in something dose not make that thing crap.
Im just gonna out it out there, Xenoblade chronicels.
It's the JRPG of the generation as far as Im concerned, even with the graphical limitations of the Wii Monolith soft made a stunning game with vast explorable landscapes and some amazing looking environments, Satorl Marsh at night is just beautiful IMO.
It was a nice list but yeah where the hell was MGS4... Not a single Japanese game, biased much?
Ive never been a fan of Mass Effect but Id like to get into the franchise one day.
From what Ive been hearing about some of the complaints (few as there are) regarding the last ME trilogy, they should make your actions in the ME universe more meaningful, I know they did this quite well in the original ME but apparently messed it up at the end, when it came down to it pretty much all your decisions you've made in the previous games are meaningless and came down to 2 choice...
Yeah, Capcom is definitely up there as one of the most disappointing things about this gen...
...What, they're rebooting Devil may cry?!
...What, Capcom ruined Resident Evil?!
...What, they cancelled Mega man Legends!?
...What, no Breath of fire 6!?
...What, no Powerstone 3!?
...What, no Rival schools 3!?
...What, so is DLC Capcom's most profitable source of income now!?
Personally (and I mean personally...
Couldn't agree more, with such a great franchise like Power Stone just why hasn't Capcom gotten around to making a 3rd?
1st person Zelda? Oh dear god no some things are sacred.
Now a more open world with deeper exploration, that I can get behind.
What would have been the harm letting Wii U owners get their copy of Rayman Legends earlier?
Just because it's going multiplat now should make no difference, especially considering the fact Wii U could do with more games now, why hold the game back from all the potential buyers when the Wii U version is pretty much ready to hit shelves.
I really wanted this game to be good but the Aliens animatations are glitchy and they seem very unimpossing, not at all like they were in the movies.
The AI is awful Ive had to restart chapters because my AI companion refused to move to the objective.
Ugh, you know I got half way through chapter 2 of Colonial Marines, paused, and turned it off. How did they manage to botch it so bad!?
