Im all for exclusives but to be honest there's very few PS3 exclusives that interest me outside of MGS, Resistance, GT, Some JRPG's and it seems like a lot of games that were once exclusives no longer are. If they have more new IP's coming bring em on.
I doubt many and at least not me, I mean I think most people buy consoles for the games. How many people do you think would buy a 360 if it had a blue ray player? Id say not too many more than those who buy it now.
I would have got it new had it appealed to me, The honest truth though is it did not. So I got a second hand JRPG instead I would have got Alice madness returns but I couldn't find it for PS3 and I was in a rush...
Before you all let your worries blow everything out of proportion lets at least let Namco Bandai show us more characters, Believe me Im just as a big a Soul Calibur fan as anyone else here. I agree, Even though I still think the old games were great, Im glad Namco Bandai is moving the story ahead and adding new characters so the franchise doesn't get old and stale.

Dreamcast was a great console but the reason is because of the amazing games it had, Shenmue, Sonic Adventure 2, Powerstone, Powerstone 2, Soul Calibur, Rival Schools, SF3, Skies of Arcadia, DoA2 and so on. Ive honestly never been a fanboy, I buy a console because I want the games it has.

I think the reason is pretty obvious Japan being a different country catters to a different taste, One that seems to be becoming less and less popular with alot of gamers this gen in the west. Its not that Japanese games are worse now its that many people in the west would rather play Uncharted and Gears of war rather then MGS and Disgea, Sure they try to make games that would be popular in NA and Europe but they often don't get very good reviews, Personally I would much rather Japan keep...
