Well this really just kills the franchise original appeal. I honestly can't see myself getting the game because of this, and that seems to be the majority view.
Maybe they're planning online as some kind DLC? lol.
Yeah, I mean wasn't the whole point of the game to create your own tracks and have people race on them online? O.o
Well, it will die if MS don't continue supporting it like they did with the Xbox.

Damn, UK needs to get behind our game devs instead of just hindering progress -_- there's a ton £££ that we're missing out on here.
It's always nice to play what you know you like, but we just don't get enough new IP's and when we do they are usually just clones of current popular titles/franchises.
It's understandable that some devs are weary of creating new IP's, given that the diversity of many current gen gamers play library ranges from CoD, to CoD, and yeah you guessed it more CoD, needless to say some gamers need to step out of their comfort zone and expand their genres.

So true! Sadly too many Japanese devs opt for westernising their games, only to lose the unique (sometimes crazy) style and feel I enjoy about them...

Onimusha, Devil May Cry, Dino Crisis, Mega man. Mega man X, Power Stone, the lack of care they have shown towards those titles is all the reason I need to hate Capcom... but they keep going out of there way to create new ones :/
