true, true.
Btw these aren't exact-scale models; that should have been cleared up while the story was requesting authorisation but obviously it wasn't.
The guy who does these models is amazing - he must have so much patience. I made the DS lite one and it was really hard, but you just need to stick at it. Hats off to the man!
Too bad the game phails and you have to actually pay to play it online.
This is such a good game!
I wonder how it will play like on smaller screen, though
Trying saying Theseis out loud... lmao!
Hm this looks like Tomb Raider..
...Why the hell should I have to pay to play online?!?!
Disgraceful.
Soz, I get the inflation bit and all that (I'm not too MMO-savvy either), but how can earning loads of money push up the prices of items? I'd assume that the price of items (which you'd buy in shops I suppose?) is dictated by the Devs; so people having more money just means they can buy more of them, surely? Unless it's not a command economy and it's a free market? But how on earth do you create a free market in a game; that must mean that a particular groups of players are responsible for...
...please get rid of those god damn "helooooo say something" adverts - they are so loud and damn ANNOYING!!!!!! And no I don't want to use and advert blocker so nerr :p (I've been here since the first iteration of News for Gamers so why should I have to put up with noisy ads, and for that matter, why can't I post news topics??? Humph :p)
Apart from that (and the amount of noobs which start fanboy bashing the minute they here '360 failure rate' or 'PS3 price drop' (which we ...
Do you have to have a credit card registered or be in a certain country? I can't seem to get them
I thought it might be something like this. I'm pretty sure they nicked a couple of ideas from these guys http://www.engadget.com/200... but hey, it wouldn't be MS if they didn't =D
It looks cool and I hope we'll see it soon in the future. However, the one downside will be that MS will get a monopoly on this product too, and since this will be used by most sellers in most mar...
Either:
a) Gesture-recognition-driven product
b) Launch of @live.com email service
c) A hand-held gaming device
Place your bets
I reckon a hand-held with possiblt gesture/motion control implemented into it - "change the way people interact with technology". That makes logical sense seeing as Apple are bringing out the iPhone and Sony signed a deal with European telecom companies to make a PSP phone. MS will use the handheld as a st...
No way I'm paying £85 for a refurnished console
1 360 broken after 15 months
This is awesome news! Even more reason for me to buy a DS. I mean, as if it didn't have a strong enough catalogue already; Geometry Wars and Defcon are likely to be released on the platform, and now N. Never before has the DS appealed to me so much!
I just hope they don't incorporate touch-screen controls at the expense of game play just for the sake of it.
But seriously, lol. I might give this a go on my 360, I wonder how long it lasts for though.
Hm maybe the devs who broke off with EA and started Valve still kept in contact, their plan to get the support of hardcore gamers and then use methods that EA use once they were drawn in. Explains the hacked figures of Steam's oddly high income - why was all that money in a subsidiary account, and who was it going to...hmmm... That's one very implausible conspiracy theory lol.
Anyway, this is pathetic. Influenced by or in competition with EA or not, this is a disgusting move ...
...because it killed my 360. It's because of the design of the mainboard- the X-clamps are complete rubbish and cause the mainboard to bend. Whoever designed them - and whoever let them pass through certification - personally needs their ass kicking. I'd really like to be the one to do that :)
Moore is obviously dodging the real issue here: the crappy hardware inside the 360s - fix that, and the breaking-down issue goes away. Get rid of those damn X-clamps for goodness sake!
Truth be told, this won't happen, and it's unlikely that the 65nm chips won't be implemented for a long time, because MS don't want to put any more money into hardware which is already costing them. I bet it'll cost them more than money, though - they're throwing away their fanbase. I'm certai...
What a pathetic man!
Even MSNBC have slated Jack; I guess they just couldn't put up with the embarrassment any more
http://www.petitiononline.c... - we need to get signing! I wonder why Jack doesn't post comments on this site :s Oh, because he'd get owned
...and it looks as good as the video, then I will sell my arm and buy a PS3. I will personally cut out the parts of my brain which have memories of the Wii and 360 attached to it and replace them with a giant foam finger saying "PS3 rulez!", if they can actually make that video possible in real-time gameplay. That's how much I will love Sony and Guerilla.
