PS4 Pro had some launch issues as well. It happens with any kind of technology.

how can it be an overheating issue if it doesn't even turn on? It seems more like a manufacturing issue. It doesn't seem widespread. I've only seen 2 or 3 posts on reddit and not one reviewer has reported this issue.

I bet CryEngine could see a big boost if MS bought them, Microsoft have proven over and over again that they are Mad Scientists when it comes to Software, A game engine with them in charge would be insane, Crytek is no slouch either they just don't have the manpower or budget to continue improving CryEngine. Nope, they were rumored to be working on such a device for a long time.
Imagine a $100 Apple TV/ Roku type device that can stream any xbox game, That would boost sales significantly.

Noh... He's repeating what has already been said. Next Xbox will be fully backwards compatible but it doesn't mean that Xbox One S games will run Xbox vNext games. Devs won't be obligated to support Xbox one like they are now.

Yes backwards compatibility. Not forward. Xbox One X2 games will highly unlikely be able to run Xbox One S. Some devs might choose to support all because of The larger marketshare. But they're not obligated like with the One X.
