Well.. In a way, I might actually agree with Patcher for once, it'd be more wise to actually hack a bank, rather then PSN, although, assuming he was looking for CC's, then PSN would be a wiser move as he's not directly attacking a bank, yet still getting CC's in the process.
I'd say he wasn't actually trying to get CC's, he knew that making it look like he hacked PSN's database would make Sony have to rebuild their system, which draws the quest...

It's amazing how many Xbox websites are taking advantage of PSN's downtime to get hits from Xbots, and take a Stab at Sony/PSN at the same time.

And obviously, Sony will be spending their time rebuilding PSN, but considering the staff at Sony, there are Thousands of people working there, they can obviously work on fixing PSN, whilst a separate team works on hopefully catching these scum in the act.
And PSN has not failed, it's just the fact that Sony has obviously left a blind spot within their coding structure, giving hackers access to the PSN database, and you've just stealth trolled me, haven't you?

Considering that this game is trying to beat it's pre-predecessor, you'd expect them to do a good job on the backgrounds, however, the Street Fighter genre has always has this "Cartoonish" look to it, to add the effect of Anime, so don't expect characters to look great on SFxT, Expect them to be nice on TxSF though.
How could Sony do it to themselves?
The previous Call of Duty games have come out fine graphically, then we have Black Ops, a game which was meant to be amazing, and the PS3 users got shafted due to a developer that couldn't be stuffed to actually try to do a proper port.
Not to mention, around the time Black Ops was announced as DLC Plan with Microsoft was announced, so they get DLC for Black Ops one month before Sony or PC.
