Maybe its the fact that while it doesn't looks as technically sound as a BF3, Batman AC does gave amazing art style and dare I say, on some areas, Rocksteady handles the UE3 so well, parts of the game look better than Gears 3 itself. (A game developed by Epic with their own engine.)

Idk... I feel like Obsidian never get they credit they deserve. I thought New Vegas was great, Alpha Protocol a flawed gem, and most importantly, KOTOR 2 was a good followup to the best Star Wars game ever...
