Buddy you need to come alive. The economy might be struggling but luxury cars and phones , tablets etc are selling like mad. People are depressed stay more at home and seek relevance through entertainment. Opposites reaction rather than expected. The negativity surrounding Sony is a combination of competitor marketing ploys and Sonys own lack of marketing. The company makes fantastic consoles. Even the lonely Vita deserves a second look. Oh my...fascinating comment, but critically flawed. The console is not dying, the consumer is polluted. Polluted by a range of competing products in a tight economy. Tablets sell for hundreds of dollars, but gamers won't pay $600 dollars for new next gen consoles. Thus the quandary of console manufacturers attempting all these weir gimmicks. A true gamer buys games for the love of the experience it provides. A sense of escapism. A true gamer defends his right to engage in constrive debate on the issues and affords opinion an opportunity to permeate his perception. This generation has been cut short by the lower end tech like the Xbox and the wii. It's simple really. I have all the consoles and only play my PS3. It's surprising that some people still believe in MS. I had two Xbox failures in one year and have to pay for Xbox live whereas a comparable service exists for free. The Kayle...did u subtract 5million defective xboxes off its 71 million global sales? Sony leads europe and asia...American markets support MS at their own detriment. Sony on 70million without re-issue of consoles...go figure....anyway...Sony gave me excellent service. I already saved the cash for both Sony and MS new platforms....that's the best study.

Healthy debate! Sony can no longer afford the luxury of custom chips with dedicated factories. Gamers were influenced by poor journalism leading to average sales of the PS3. The cost of R&D for the ps3 was massive meaning higher break even point in console sales and longer return on investment. Detractors of the cell and Sony need to change the way they think. I'm concerned about consoles...companies need to make a profit. Consumers expect way too much for the amount they want to pay. I'm happy to pay $600 dollars for a quality console with all the bells and whistles. Freakin ipads sell for more.

I'm so sad for Sony....MS on top with xbox even though it has fewer exclusives and lower end tech. The PS vita is awesome too. The world is messed up man....I appreciate peoples preferences though have to question if their product knowledge is correct. Sony...improve your marketing...don't be despindent with dumb gamers...focus on the core gamer.
Damn! Quite a few comments here. Killzone 2 and 3 was tight! Loved them both...crazy addictive gameplay. Guerilla a top tier outfit...PS4 should benefit hugely from a Guerilla launch title...maybe a pack in game to test the augmented reality rumored inclusion for a ps4 eye glass.
Guys.let's not lose focus here. Sony was mislead by nintendo and microsoft but still churned out excellent exclusives that thrilled gamers everywhere. Option to fully use the Vita as a controller is a simple inclusion. How to ensure that all those without Vitas get the same experience is another thing. Perhaps a pack in vita lite.
