Did you not notice the ps5 gradient reducing? Having a blast with ratchet and clank I just admit. I'm also enjoying the Series X a ton. Both good but I can see Xbox being equal in sales by the end of 2022 with that gradient. Unless Sony shocks us with a crazy Playstation show in response to Xboxes crazy good E3. Let's see. We all win either way.

Now this is what I was waiting for. A finally true next gen looking game. I was blown away. On my 4th watch of the trailer.

Unfortunately my friend the Horizon Decima engine received mild tweaks for PS5 just so that it can run respectably on PS4 (sales motive). We have a real problem with slow early adoption rates on consoles( not sales I'm talking people staying longer with old gen). It's not hardware availability because new consoles are outselling their prior gen counterparts

I have not seen anything next gen in any next gen console yet. Not even upcoming games. Guess studio costs are reducing the appetite for risks associated with the high investment requirements for new truly next gen games. Don't tell me about Ratchet and Clank on PS5 when the Unreal Engine 5 demo looks they way it does (that's next gen).

Sony milking it. Took my cash for ps5 and left me with a 60fps PS4. I'm livid. Jim should've resigned in March and Sony should've bring Shawn Layden and Andrew House back. Jim thinks he is commercially astute but the first rule is to treat your customers with respect. What we now have is a divided playstation community, seemingly inferior hardware to the competition, 70 dollar games and cross gen releases that fail to inspire true gamers seeking eye watering experiences. Xbox here...

You are so right. I am very very disappointed with my PS5. It's a white PS4 with a controller whose triggers click and stick. I haven't seen anything compelling.

Yes I played it finished. It became a chore. The last stage was preceded by a puzzle outside a large centre in order to get in. TV is full fat my brother. HDR 4k high end. The problem is perhaps you don't have enough experience. I'm playing games for 37 years. I know what a generational leap should be. If it's good for you, excellent. Enjoy the games!

Full fat 4k 60hz TV with HDR10, that's what I have for a TV. The issue is that the game looks like Spiderman PS4 with reflections that just didn't impress me (opinion). The day I launched I had quite a few friends over and well.....mmmm..crickets were heard..No..."wow". What did impress me as a launch game was Battlefield 4 on PS4. Now that was a stunner. Totally blew my freaking mind. These lollipop excursions with Spiderman MM lasted just long enough. Same systems as PS4....

Honestly, an average to good game (Spiderman). I was not blown away by the graphics when I got my PS5. When I showed my friends they stopped pursuing a PS5 purchase as a MUST have. I also have an Xbox series x...cue the fanboy hate. I got Gamepass and finished Halo5 both Forza games as well as Ori and the Will of the wisps. Great time. Both consoles are good. Just saying Spiderman did not blow me away. Sony and MS need to get away from the PS4/Xbox 1 cross gen system asap. Take the sales loss...

Interesting..just saw the amazon rumour on the PSVR pricepoint. It still amaxes me how we as gamers spend big bucks on cell phones and sneakers but refuse to pay for cutting edge tech. 3D0 was a generation ahead but the market wasnt ready for it. Perhaps if we prioritise and spend more on our hobbies we can give these companies confidence to put the best technology in their consoles and VR tech. I can only but imagine the marketing boardroom banter "Gamers are willing to pay $300 dollars...

I logged n just to respond to this after months of silence on the n4g comments section. Bobby Kotick is a classic example of dangerous leadership. His approach is fuelled with retarded remarks and a detached perception of reality. Unfortunately though, his luck with regurgitation of sub-standard software (COD)gives him a false sense of stature to comment. Nintendo, over the last few years have been an anomaly, gaining success of the back of an uneducated customer (soccer moms and noobs). This...

Pachter knows that Microsoft is going to turn living rooms into discos! Yes....your new illumiroom combined with kinect plus 2.0 will ensure that you have a realistic disco experience. In addition you will be able to disco Skype with friends and family.....all new SKYPE! Then to add to the excitement you will get 3 exclusives in halo, forza and wait.......... gears of war 6! Thank you MS for polarizing the gaming community...I blame you for nintendos move to casual as they had no choice...fur...

Uninformed consumers? They should regress intellect levels against console sales patterns around the world. I bet a strong positive correlatation between low education and intellect against high xbox sales. You pay for what should be a free service. Your machine has liw levels o
f exclusive custom built IPs and te hardware is limited. In fact the hardware dictated the threshold for graphics holding superior efforts on par when they could have been better on competing platforms.

Dear Microsoft, although you might think I'm an idiot, I do applaud your hubris. Certainly your venture into the gaming sphere has been met with some success. I trust you are scratching your heads as you wonder about Soys recent lead in shipped units. Central to your idea of creating a more immersive experience, I believe you should firstly advertise your products correctly. The kinect, although bold, was an absolute hardware failure which simply cannot be defended. The first year of Xbox...

I enjoyed halo 4...certainly better than halo 3, dost and reach. Something peculiar happened the other day though. I bought a ps3 and played Killzone 2 and 3 after each other....wow! I should've listened to my brother when he told me how awesome it was. I haven't played the multi though but he said it was superb. Pity I got it so late. Strangely though these are old games in comparison and to me they look far better. I hope they sold well to warrant a sequel.

I had to log in just to comment on this one! I love new ideas, however this again falls way short of providing a more engaging experience. While watching that video I was more distracted by the disproportionate spread of wild light around the room. Brilliant marketing will make this a winner, and yes, another connect peripheral providing something other than what's promised. These companies are so detached from reality (excuse the pun) that they refuse to focus on games. Buzz words like &...

Why do some gamers loom plain about their homie? It seems to have become an ugly habit amongst some individuals who fail to understand that you simply get what you pay for. Companies could shorten console life cycles. The fundamental issue is that gamers are under a serious misconception on price. The pollution of casual gamers and a young core audience is putting undue strain on console manufacturers which is ultimately going to impact on the quality of next gen consoles. The debate about sy...

Has anybody been reading or watching Kaz Hirais interviews on Sony. This dude is scary smart. He loves the playstation brand that's for sure with more emphasis from the while wony empire on games now. Great to have the right people in charge. Sony...come out swinging!
