Well maybe those people once shared the same thought when it came to the wiiu but when next year came for the wiiu the developers jump ship.
Hard to think positive when you were fooled the first time around for a previous product.
LoS was pretty good imho; LoS2 was not sadly. Sadly MGS future is gambling machines and cheap mobile games knowing Konami. They're too stubborn to sell it off. So they will just bury it under bs no one asked for.

While two was more engaging and somewhat more challenging than 1 but 1 felt like an actual rpg to me. I got into the series because it was an Rpg. ME2 was too diluted with fps element for me.
1 was rpg with shooter elements.
2 was shooter with rpg elems
3 brought back some the rpg elements from 1but drop the ball with that weak ending.
Doubt it and to be honest this game the first time around barely sold at $60 and now for some reason Gearbox think they can make it sale at $60.
How many employees was force to give a good review or be terminated?

If it was that simple the WiiU wouldn't went through scenarios it did. Developing AAA first party games takes time and money. Getting third party developers to make AAA games isn't easy as it seems. Most big name studios will only take the risk if Nintendo is helping with the developing cost, the system is owned by tens of millions or the system is easy to developed on.
TF2 is so underrated. EA poor decision/greed killed the sales for this game and possibly the series.
I wouldn't go far as to say that. It still follow the formula that majority open world games uses.
I dont know what worst this for $40 or Bulletstorm for $60. Heck Bulletstorm the first time around didn't turn a profit at $60. I guess Evil Ken and Ryu took a very long time to developed. Oh the man power and long hours.

Originally MH was on consoles the PS2 in fact. Capcom brought the series to handheld during the PSP era. Afterwards they seem to jump ship and went to Nintendo side. I think this is what the OP is getting at.
Personally I'm satisfied with God Eater and Toukiden. Though MH would be a nice addition to my ps4.
