It was pretty cool that a powerstone character was considered. I wish they would remaster or even remake powerstone 1&2 for current consoles.
We have been playing games on the go for decades for now. The reason MS and Sony didn't go down this path for their consoles is because it comes at the cost of battery life and overall console power. Not to mention you have a mobile gaming/smartphone market which you are constantly competing against.

Well what people don't remember E3 was pretty laxed when came to the public consumers getting into the convention back in the day. They didn't start enforcing their no-public/press-only policy until 2007. This created outrage and also created the short lived E for All convention.
Honestly it looks like nothing from because they are still playing catch-up on multiple fronts.
-Online multiplayer requires app to function fully in 2017.
-Free games (Nes/SNes) only work for a limited time despite how long pay for membership.
-Nintendo still stuck on sd cards in 2017 for their console.
-Overprice peripherals.
-Has the same hardware as the Shield 2017. You cellphone a year or two will be stronger than this thing sadly.

E3 was a press-only event however anyone could get in before 2007 (or rather they didn't really enforced their own policies that much). During 2007 E3 organizers started to enforced it's press-only policy which made it harder for non-press people to get in. Which resulted in the creation of Entertainment for All. That only last until 2008.

Well lets be honest the story was half-assed but decent. You would think they would have learn from bioware mishaps with ME3 surrounding your choices from previous games and making them matter. Your choices from previous doesn't matter. Outside of the story, pre-order fiasco, then you have season pass and then you have extra modes that don't add anything to the overall story/game.

Switch still $299+ probably won't survive long without a price cut. If Sony and MS cut their console price down $249 then average consumer will go for the cheaper product.
I believe it will have good if not decent first year but it's the following years that's most crucial. If Nintendo don't have good third-party support/exclusives this time around it will follow the path of the WiiU. If Nintendo is smart releasing a Pokemon game and or Monster Hunter game will be a no-brainier.
