Microtransaction will probably become a standard this generation sadly. Most publishers just sees it as opportunity to make more money. They don't think it ruin the overall game.
Well given its iBuyPower I guess it will be overprice like most of their PCs and laptops are.

Well Jack got nothing to worry about with Ouya. No matter how many developers Ouya supposedly got on board only a small number of Ouya owners actually buy games.
Every time Apple or Android devices get a new controller peripheral it somehow magically the end of Nintendo or magically consoles got a fight on their hands.

If you're asking why you would spend this much then this isn't for you.
Only a fraction of XB1 owners will use those kinect features fully. Some to most hardcore XB1 gamers will not care for Kinect or to use it. Just look at the 360. Hardcore games really didn't care for it then. I doubt they just magically became Kinect lovers now.
It won't be long before EA ruin the BF series and its the spitting image of CoD. It will probably be a while before we see another Bad Company game.
Valve is extraordinary developer and company but next-gen already started regardless of what Valve say or does.

If MS would fail it would damage the gaming industry. I would rather they learn from the backlash they cost than to see them fail. It wouldn't good for anyone at the end of the day if they were to fail.
Selling off the Xbox division is easier said than done. Only a few companies got enough money to buy it and those companies more than likely wouldn't. Vivendi had hard time just trying to sell Acti-Blizzard for few billion dollars. Xbox division is worth 10-20 times ...
Probably ebay though I doubt it will be new.
