Hate to say this, but I saw the game in person at PAX. I watched it for a bit and to be absolutely totally honest with you it was not impressive for next Gen. The colors were flat, the textures were flat. It wasn't even put in a booth. But a little mini Island with a few other games. Everyone there agreed. So it wasn't like some fanboy crap people talk about here. Where Killzone SF was super sharp running real time 1080p. It was very detailed and full of color.

This is what myself and others who have played on the PS4 have been trying to say all along. I mean AC4 BF is SO damn good looking you just find yourself starring at the environment all around you and feeling like you are in heaven. Youtube videos do Next Gen games zero justice. Greatness awaits people and you will be mind blown at the games.
And it's like $14,$17 bucks. So pretty darn cheep.
Awh, ok.... I was bored of GTAIV after 2 hours. I tried playing it again 3 more times over the years. It was a let down....
Having played on a PS4 and used a Dual Shock 4. Then coming home to the PS3 was kind of hard, lol. It's like test driving a Lambo and driving home in a Honda. I mean I was playing Killzone Shadow Fall, AC4 BF, Knack, Drive Club, etc.

Some of us actually don't care. We own Sony consoles to play Sony games. If we wanted a PC for gaming, we'd go buy one. I've never once in all my years felt like what are the other guys doing. I used to PC game WAY back in the day. I game on what I enjoy the most period.
Look how in the distance ahead objects ( Trees, etc ) pop up on the screen while he's in the jet. Next Gen games does not have that. You can see as far as the eye can see in Next Gen games. If it's fake, then what game is it?
I would be looking for info on what they did to make it Next Gen spec. Much like what Ubisoft has done with their games.

Maybe you should do some research on the difference between games coming on the PS3/PS4 and 360/X1. All graphics and details.
It was SO boring and I hated the car movements/functions, lol. Going from epic San Anderas to that was a mind blowing bad.
Good to know at least a few places left to get one. To think GameStop and Amazon both crushed and sold out is pretty damn impressive given their global distribution size.
Oh it is! It uses a real world ocean simulator. This is why so many talk about the water being the best they've ever seen. It truly looks real life. When a storm rolls in you'll see 30 foot swells. You have to navigate those. There is just so much real life goodness in this game. So much detail in Next Gen.
They were huge on ebay and Craigslist. Might even still be on there. But I also saw people getting banned using them. So there are ways to find out it seems. I guess playback video of single shot weapons going off on full auto. Also check youtube for videos. People dumb enough to post them.

Yeah, I read both sides of the story and I too think it's a good thing for sure! But we can't say it's a fix all. But a very good step in the right direction for gamers, agreed. I know what dedicated servers are by the way, lol. Not new here.

You must have not seen AC4 BF in person like some of us have. I will say Killzone SF looked very very good. But the game play was inside for the most part with a court yard in the map. I'm sure it will look awesome in other parts of the game where the city comes in to play.
