I'm the same way on details. I can spot everything in games. When this one came along I was mind blown because there is just SO much you see going on that has you tripping. Because you are so not used to seeing this much graphic detail in console games. Once you've seen it. It's hard to look and go back to current gen games, lol.
Yes, it's very hard to explain in words what the games look like on big nice flat panel tv's. Until you've seen it first hand. We got to see this game on a 80" screen. The game looked so good, you could have just stood there and looked at the view. But yes, Killzone was the same way. Only the game play we had to play didn't really show us the outside world. blue_flowers, Sorry, did I rustle some jimmies? You are aware that AC4 BF has a bigger map?. On Next Gen it will literally crush anything ever put on the PS3. Trust me, I know, I've seen it, I've played it and I've learned enough about it. So while GTAV is cool and fun and we will all enjoy it. It's not going to even be close and that is not a dig to get you rustled some more. Just that we are moving into a console 10 times more powerful the our current system.
