Let's do GOTY wins so far in each console's life cycle thus far.
Boy, GOTY is going to be tough this year, lol... but all Sony games Killzone 2 or UnCharted 2. Could even get a GT5 in there.

I agree, I stopped playing COD because I got sick of the cheaters. Plus, besides the pointless repetitive game play. It got old ( small maps, same ol leveling up guy over and over for same perks ) after running through the levels 4 times ( 55 ). I wish Konami would take care of MGO the same with is massive Lag switcher issues. Many cheaters on that online game.
There's that word again....... Exclusive.
No WiFi ( $99 add on ), No Blu-ray, No Free online play, reliability issues ( still and the big issue ). Why would it ever sell better at this point? Just saying, pretty logical really as most great games ( those not exclusive ) are multi platform anyway ( COD being the most popular or GTA ).

What console war do you speak of? Sony has the best selling #1 and #2 console of all time. The introductory price was $599, yes. With a staggered worldwide release too. Yet, look how close it is to the Xbox now based on much higher price and not a world wide launch of the Xbox. Given the 8 year life cycles. By the end of 2010 the sells will look far different now that the PS3 is also the same as the Xbox.

The Xbox will have 4 disc's for a reason. Not only can it hold far less data pre disc. But the code in details will be shorten to fit it just on 4 disc's alone. Hence why many games on the PS3 look so sharp and stellar ( MGS4, UnCharted 1 and 2, GOW3, GT games, Heavy Rain ). Everyone can see this no matter what console you have. It's just that some don't want to accept it and that's fine. Not going to change a fact.
Here's how you know it was downgraded for the Xbox. The game is said to be already completed. The game is still exclusive in Japan for the PS3 as they get it way before everyone else. The rest of the world will have to wait another 6 months for the release of the game for both consoles. Now, with the game said being done, then it's done. Now if the game needs to be ported to the Xbox. Where would the word "down grade" will come in to play? Think about it.

First model 80g's play's some backwards games as well. Have the 4 USB's, card slots, etc. Either way, a PS3 is never worth only $150... that's a total rip off! Then turn around and pay another $150 to get the slim model? No thx.

Over 1.2 billion USD in repairs. Looks like ( $1,200,000,000 ). Just on a game console ( Xbox ). That figure is from 2 years ago as well. We know it's well over 2 billion easy now, easy.

Craigslist everybody.... screw these rip off game stores. They are making millions from ripping people off and they know it. They are about as bad as credit card companies or rent to own furniture stores.
