I hear ya brother, lol. We all took from that game the very same experience. Awful, lol.... Raiden was such a noob. He lacked confidence to perform any task. He complained throughout the game. The whole water base setting was so not snake environments of the other MGS's. I didn't care for the bosses as they seemed to fake and thoughtless, just on and on. Yes, this game will be fun as heck and online to boot with the dev tools that come with it. So looking forward to it.

well, considering that MGS4 came out in 2008. Was in development since 2005. One could say it is and was the best for it's time in all graphic's displays. It's impact to the gaming world and to the PS3 is and will be far greater than both KZ2 and Uncharted 2. It rasied the PS3 sells up some 4000%. One of 7 games to receive the all time perfect game score on any console. But yes, KZ2 and UC2 are beast of there own. It's nice to own a console with so much potential.
I bought this game at the midnight release. Loved it so much I bought another copy and another PS3. So I could have head to head online ( MGO ) battles here in house. Very true and this is why Sony's hardware is 10 times more reliable than MS's. Where MS should have just stuck with the software and saved themselves billions in repairs and embarrassments. Would have saved millions of consumers from big headaches as well. Just stating what we've all seen over the last 4 years.
I would rather have a "late" reliable piece of electronic's with a state of the arts blu-ray player then some out of date DVD system that's failure rate so incredibly high, that it becomes the worst in history. All of Europe did not see the PS3 until mid 2007. Some half a year later than US/Japan. Where MS had been there since 2005. So in reality, this should not even be a close race at all still. This is like old news now, lol.... Ever since MGS4 show up and set the bar so high. Now we all expect epic games on the PS3 system. Dev's have no excuses anymore.
That's ok still. Think about it, we'd all like a GOW background? Or a MGS background, UnCharted? KZ?, MAG? Just like Sony and all it's AAA exclusive games. They all can become backgrounds here in the near future. People just need to put the word out there so these Dev teams see the message.
