Too many games at the moment and about 6 I've got to review so the Kollection will have to wait until december.
Fun little game but I do feel that the difficulty is all over the place going up and down constantly from level to level.
Added it to my "to buy" list for when I get my 3DS next year.
Playing it for a review over at PS3blog.net and I have to say it IS a fun game! Played it non-stop for 3 hours last night until I realized it was 1:30 a.m. hahaha.
Late 2013 I can believe. Early 2013, before E3 2013? Not a chance.
Suuure, because a $499.99 controller with no buttons is the way to go.
Awesome with a side of cliché mashed potatoes!
Yep and they're bringing another take on it soon as a minis as well but this time set in the Ice Age.
Wait, what? WHY would they do this? The ENIX half of the name has been carrying around the Square dead weight! Dragon Quest has made more profit for Square Enix than Final Fantasy in the last 3 years.
Well, it IS sorta the same thing over and over with changes here and there, topped with sorta of a "dating sim" portion on the side. If you really liked the demo and would like to see how the story ends... buy the game!
Why? Both are FPS and both show advancements on their respective platforms. FPS games are better on the Wii because of the Wiimote as actually shooting where you're aiming changed how FPS are played. Too bad Sony didn't really support Move by making sure FPS during the 6 months before the launch had patches for compatibility.
No specs (as is pretty much always the case with Nintendo) but going from what developers have said (especially the Darksiders studio) we can say that the Wii U is a bit more powerful than the PS3.
Red Steel 2 on Wii shows how a FPS can work on the console, bring something new, be fun and look great.
Well, premiersopir did the 2012 review (which I've just submitted) and then did the 2009 review so maybe that had something to do with it. I also got the 2009 edition with my PS+ sub so I'll start on that and once I've got 100% I'll move on to the 2012 edition.
Different markets, different people. Don't see one taking share from the other.
That would be very, very, veeeery bad for the next gen. I know prices for game development (especially on AAA titles) has gone up considerably but setting the standard price at $70 would put videogames at a huge disadvantage against other forms of entertainment. I'd still buy them but wouldn't be able to buy as many since an extra $10 ($20 over Wii prices) would cut into my budget in the short and long term.
It has already happened. Guess not many remember prices at the end of the SNES/Genesis era.
The Wii U New Controller is the STANDARD controller to be included with EVERY SINGLE CONSOLE SOLD. The Vita+PS3 combo won't take off as it's not the standard control input (one is a portable, the other is a console) and you're talking about a $500 investment (at least) as well as getting a game (or maybe you need a VITA and a PS3 copy) which increases cost even more.
And now that the Vita will skip the holiday season (and all it's sales) in Europe and Japan... well, they'll start with a 6-7 million gap (or higher) to close in on.
Because Sony will dedicate 2012 and early 2013 to the Vita. It wouldn't be wise for them to release a portable and a home console within 12 months of each other since developers wouldn't have time to devote resources to both especially since Vita and PS3 share so many elements.
