Until a Halo comes out that has a fully blown map creator ala Far Cry, the series is irrelevant to me.
“A funny anecdote I love telling is, how we signed Luftrausers to Sony. We were in a bar with Shahid (Sony) and he basically wrote the contract on a coaster and said, ‘So what do you need, and what do you want?’ We discussed it, and within a week we had everything we needed to start developing. We got the contract the day after we got the hardware, not the other way round like ‘sign this and then …’ No, this was just he trusted us, we trusted them. Done."
Wow. I don'...
This was NOT terrific info. At all, lol.
I have most definitely had issues with my left stick deteriorating quite rapidly. I resorted to buying grip-its.
I'm honestly impressed that Ubisoft have treated the RS IP with this much respect. There's no reason they should tarnish the credibility of the franchise after Vegas 1 & 2. They need to nail the first to third person transition.
I'm hoping for a return of the Pixel Junk games, especially Eden and Shooter. Man, would it be great if they combined PJ Shooter 1 & 2 and released them on PS4.
Best Fable game for sure, and definitely in the top 5 best Western RPG's of last generation as far as I'm concerned. I really hope they're adding new quests/areas. Not too much, but some minor stuff would be nice. Make a couple extra pathways in some of the more linear parts of the world.
Meaning, people that actually play games daily. Don't be so touchy over common terminology.
You'd think Spike would have the Gametrailers staff walk into their office and slowly explain to them what they're doing wrong. You have an entire division of true gamers under your wing capable of crafting a fantastic awards show, yet you completely ignore them.
Wholeheartedly agree. The tangible, overall control of a game is completely lost with a touch screen. I feel as though anybody can tap away at a screen, where it takes a true gamer to undertake multiple functions in tandem.
If he wants to sell 50,000 units, let him sell 50,000 units. Moron.
I would change everything too - The design, indie policies, focus on entertainment, Kinect's level of importance, invest in first party studios, improve Games For Gold, Go for better hardware.
I just described a PS4, though.
GZ is not GoTY material. It's essentially a demo.
Dark Souls 2 on PS4, Uncharted, new inFamous trailer showing a wider variety of locations/maneuvers, more gameplay in the Titanfall trailers as opposed to bird eye views of everything, and a hooked walking cane to snag Joel by the neck right off of the set.
This game deserves no more than a 7.5 no matter which way you slice it.
They don't have to necessarily make each game world changing event coordinate with one another, I just want it to change PERIOD based on a few preset choices. I hate how after you beats a game like Skyrim the world is EXACTLY the same as it was in the beginning. The first game that truly opened up my eyes to this was Fable: Lost Chapters. Even the little things - "Whoah, where'd that trader stand come from? OOOHH I helped escort them to Albion!"
Different sets have different glare levels, apparently. It's not a huge issue for me whatsoever, but it'd be nice if they added this feature.
I'm hoping for a complete emphasis on the game world changing based on each and every choice you make, much like the Megaton quest in 3, but across the entire game. I want a game to truly mold around what you do. Dev diaries of many title's past have hyped up this feature, but it has never come to fruition.
Since I sit literally right in front of my TV with the way my room is set up, it can glare very heavily as well. During general gaming sessions it's completely un-noticeable but in the midst of dark/low light sequences like in Shadowfall for instance, that light was really screwing up the immersion for me.
Costs more.
Is less powerful.
Consumes more power.
The Xbone is so in-proportional with what it should be.
