That's great, although many current games are going for so simple game setting options, that they can't get more simpler. For example AC3 had like 5 options.
But there are still developers that like to make it with more option settings, so this is a great application for people with not so much experience or with people who don't like to mess with the settings.
@Incipio I prefer to kill only the guards in my way, hide the bodies and continue on, killing as less as possible, although often I just want to kill someone for no reason, instead of sneaking past, if it won't alert any other NPC's. What about issue with Cinematic Point Shooting getting you detected, while with it turned off, you don't.
I mean, you obviously get detected either way, just that with CPS shots will be fired from NPC's (if there are 4 or more armed NPC's), resulting in alerting guards that are near you, but not in sight, but without it you cleanly kill them all, no shots fired by NPC's.
Please give some attention to this thread, so that IO fixes it -

I hope Desmond era is finally over. The series need a wider perspective in the next game, probably it will be a new Desmond, I don't think they will forget about the Animus.
I'm expecting a more nearer era to ours, than in AC3, as it has always been progressive, but AC3 left us at a really wide possibility situation, so there is really no point in thinking on which period of time and where the next game will be played in.

My gaming experience is being ruined as I check every corner for something, and I always do, so that I don't miss anything, making games like Skyrim become more like work, not fun, managing all the weight and items that I have stored all over the house, placed them in different group order, to make it easier.
That is why I prefer sand-box style games, I can go there, do that, and then later come back, if I have a need to.

Can you even play Skyrim without the DLC's they will feed your save-game and the game will become unplayable. It has been a mess with Bethesda and PS3...

You really have to follow the cut-scenes and dialogue to get into the story of GTA 4, the game-play was basically only shooting and driving.
But when playing the game back in the 2008, when their new physics engine was introduced, ohh my goodness, it was truly the best game ever created for me, then.
I was just running over people all the time and crashing into other cars. It was the first game I had seen such things. And those are the best memories any game...

Why is i7 as recommended processor, I thought it didn't make any difference in PC gaming compared to i5.
Total War : Shogun 2 is probably the best experience I have had with PC gaming, just such beautiful graphics and so many soldiers, and when you zoom in when they are fighting you can actually see them fight, not just run into each other or something, and all their faces and equipment/armor are detailed with fine textures, just beautiful.
If you have a good PC, this game is a must.

Mostly all this gen games are made for either X360 or PS3, and then ported to PC, just because performance is more important on the consoles, not the PC, which is also the reason most of the latest PC games perform like crap.
With RDR it was different, none of Red Dead series game was ever been made on PC, and the PC community as many game developers see, is that they mostly play only RPG's, sandbox games and other complex games. Games that are impossible or not as easily manageable on consoles.
It's sad for me to say Rockstar isn't giving too much attention to PC, however GTA series games will always be on PC, it just really widens the purchase count as the GTA is the game that commun...
But of course, it is really time to go for these consoles, it's really hard to get the power from these machines, if a game is focused on one console it might be not that big of a deal, but to make the game play and look good on both is a hard work, if they don't want to make a different game.
It's clear that all developers bump into this problem, only most just don't brag about it, they just try to squeeze as much juice as possible.

In Contracts mode you do as you wish, choose your outfit, weapons, and go hunt
Story mode just walks you trough basic training and gives you a story of Agent 47, where you are supposed to just have fun following objectives, it's made for new-comers to Hitman Absolution, so that they don't fail so much and get introduced to the way this game works.
