of all the bad they did today this is the one that will hurt the most. a lot of parents don't want their kids online and with it having to be online that's an issue. not to mention people without the net. price of the ps4 will determine this gen tbh. if its 500 I have a feeling we will see a repeat of Nintendo running away with sales for 2 to 3 years with sony catching up I the end. and Microsoft? not In the picture.

well Nintendo's stock did raise today by nearly 3%. and that was only 2 hours after the reveal, and nothing else could have make it rise. they didn't announce anything today. I see a lot of xbox1's being returned due to people like of an internet connection considering you have to verify your games online to prove they aren't used.
well if there's one good thing that would come from trading online, it makes going to gamestop pointless so no more being hit up to reserve every crap game the company wants to push and no more being harassed for a pro card.
so either way the system must be online in order to play games? may not have to be "always" on but I can't just go to walmart buy a game and play it without being online to prove it wasn't used. am I right?

after this maybe the "wiiu is doomed" articles will slowly go away. seems Nintendo's openness to used games will help them a lot. i'm sure Nintendo doesn't care about used games since most people buy their first party new anyway. also i'm sure that's why ea isn't giving them support.
it's the way gamestop is run. every company pays for their spot in the store. or else you wouldn't have demo systems on the walls where they could have more merchandise and their wouldn't have new game spots on the wall. Nintendo doesn't sell at gs but yet thy have plenty of space because Nintendo pays for it. it's the way they company is ran. basically these companys rent out the spaces.
but the question remains. what if the person that sold the game to gamestop didn't deactivate the game on their system? or I someone steals your system wha use are your games? or if your system breaks(very possible being a xbox) will your games work with it?

you must put all your games in the sight of the camera at all times and if one leaves for longer then 1 minute it will become deactivated. Kinect is there to keep you inline. better sh...
gaming companies pay for those spots inside gamestop. so if Microsoft wants the best space they can just buy it. and everyone know gamestop employees will push this for halo. as much as gamers hate it this system will sell.
perhaps this is why the have so much support in the industry. ea already had issues with charging people fees to play use games online. xbox one cuts out the need for ea to do it on their own so why wouldn't ea want them to succeed? gla to see they took the wiiu's tv feature. but at last the did announce that they have 8 new ips, something nintendo or sony didn't do.
if you need 1000 friends you might as well just play with random people online.

I love all this ea hate yet when they say something bad about the wiiu they are the gospel of gaming.
if mircosoft did this it would be considered unethical and bad business to most people on this site.
