why do people assume that Nintendo all of a sudden decided "hey we need games". like hey were not being developed for 2 years or so. get real people. and as far as not "winning" the gen? I didn't know it was a race and since the other 2 have yet to be released you honestly can't say one way or the other.
before star wars episode 1 was released it was going to be the greatest star wars yet too, and we see how that turned out.

obvious reason achievements are not needed. and yet another reason used game sales are so high. let me get this cheap game to get my 1000 and I'll take it back in 7 days and get another and so on. my time working for gamestop I saw this all the time. guys buying gears or halo and picking up the Hannah Montana game for 5 dollars used and saying i'm going to bring this back tomorrow after I get the 1000. lamers not gamers.
I've seen no one complaining on miiverse of hardware issues either. I've used mine none stop be it Netflix, miiverse,vc or even wii games and no issues and bought it day 1. and everyone says it has no games? funny I have plenty and I buy new ones almost every week.
this is dlc. so should we consider every game that releases dlc a milking? say last of us will be milking because of it's dlc?
wow hoping they can keep up with last gen by doing what they have been doing just with more powerful systems. hmm maybe that's why they just got the fish a.i. working right. they are a few gens behind.

I agree with this as far as sony and ms are concerned. there have been plenty of game with online added at the expense of the single player experience "see god of war". split screen multiplayer is still a big selling point for me which is why I always have a Nintendo console. most of their games have the perfect mix of online and split screen all while not letting it effect my overall single player experience. conduit and mariokart are 2 good examples. somegame don't need multip...

battlefield 4 will just look better on the next gen systems but shouldn't really add any new gameplay that is to be considered "next" gen. sixaxis, and motion controls felt next gen last time. nothing else really changed. I just don't see that leap like last gen other the graphics. the gamepad yes. the touchpad? maybe but it really doesn't look to be in the best place to be used. Kinect 2? um no I had an eyetoy that did most of that on ps2.
no way a developer developing a game? for a new system instead of the last gen system? blasphemy /s
new gameplay like activisions fish a.i.? gamepay is going to be the same as it was this gen considering the controller is the same besides a touchpad that it in the most awkward spot on the controller. don't get me wrong I love uncharted and most of sony's games but expanding gameplay they do not.
didn't they say the same thing about the ps3 and we only got dc universe? seems we get one mmo a generation. ff11 then dc. hoping they actually come thru this time and release some good ones.
no wonder they expect to still sell 25 million systems. 360 owner will have to buy replacements to play any of the games they have bought. easy way to sell more 360s I suppose but makes your "one" even more unwanted then it already was.
I agree. at that price this game should be a full release I could go to best buy and pick up. there are plenty of kickstarters that are being funded for less then a 3rd of this games cost. perhaps that's why Nintendo isn't pushing for this game to be made.
I still can't wait to see this in motion. the screens look fantastic and normally Nintendo screenshots never do the game justice. I would love for them to add some extra areas to the game. or better yet add the entire ds games story to this. It would also be neat if they add some sort of naval warfare multiplayer or treasure hunting. not too big on hack and slash multiplayer
yes people underestimate the best selling video game company ever based on what? 7 months of sales?
@dewan those sales that were more then ps3 or xb360 in the same timeframe. those sales.
