as long as the games are fun i could care less who the character is or the name on the case. the problem with most of what everyone else showed off was more shooters. didn't bros get enough of that last gen? oh but wait this time we are going to make them fake mmos. everyone is putting out the same stuff, nintendo isn't alone in that. difference is halo is now called destiny, and modern warfare is called titanfall.

all the titles nintendo announced shows nintendo will be carrying the system with loads of first party titles. perhaps you should turn on your wiiu and get some classic games on vc, or some eshop games, i've had plenty to play on mine.
also if it has dust perhaps you may want to take time away from a game and do some cleaning. just saying.

what's sad is the 2 games you mention that are doing new things are current gen, and most the next gen titles shown look like more of the same dudebro games.

all the hate nintendo is getting yet they announced more games for this year then anyone else. and not just games. big titles coming this year. mario, dkc, wonder101, zelda, wii fitu, pikmin. all first party and all this year. not to mention the 3rd party games coming. wiiu is kinda loaded with quality this holiday. if they can advertise it right thy should do very well in the holidays.
someone obviously neer played wii fit, if you had you'd probably think it's a goo thing to show off. and as much as everyone "hates" just dance. it is a huge title and sells the most on nintendos platform. if you like watchdogs, you have just dances money to thank for it being possible.

must say nintendo has more titles coming this year then either ps4 or xbone, and it doesn't seem like ps360 are going to get muchlove other then 3rd party either. nintendo is in good shape as long as they advertise the games they have coming at christmas. wii fitu and mario will sell wiius and next year mariokart and smash will keep it going.
nintendo needed something that sells. and considering dkc returns was their highest selling game they had to return to it. it only makes business sense. on top of that it looks great too
to those screaming wiiu can't compete with xbox one. this game looked as good if not better then everything they had to show.

idk dead rising looked good if only it had a real story then it would be appealing. ki did look bad and not in a good way.
considering dkc is retros highest selling game i'd say it was rather smart to have them release another. business is business. if all 3 metroid games equal the sales of their 1 dkc game it wouldn't be logical to try anything new while the wiiu is hurting for quality games that sell. they didn't need to take risks right now. next year when sales have picked up there will be chances taken.
