Is claiming that all of these good games are going to come out for the PS3...yet that's exactly what we heard about Lair, Heavenly Sword, Resistence and none of those games lived up to the expectations. As someone who's played PS3 games and 360 games a lot, it's just no comparison. Would you rather play Resistence than Gears or BioShock? If your answer is yes, you're clearly a PSFANBOY. I'd rather play Viva Pinata than Heavenly Sword. All the dudes that can't get laid love playing Heaven...
Wait, what the hell are they talking about? I don't even know. All I know is that I can't play BioShock, Halo 3, Gears of War, Mass Effect, Fable 2, etc... on the PS3.
As for people claiming that Drake's Fortune looks better than 360 games...well, that's certainly a Sony-bias coming out. I admit there were better facial animations in HS than in Mass Effect, but Heavenly Sword is a sh&t game, so graphics lose to gameplay once again.
Still doesn't have any good games you can't get on the 360. Until that changes, I don't see a monumental comeback for Sony.

The PS3 has a lot of catching up to do. By my count, it needs to release at least 12 more games worth playing than the 360 to draw even.

Things are going badly for microsoft right now! Wow, what a mouthbreathing comment. You are aware, right, that Halo 3 made more money in the first day than even the biggest film blockbusters have ever made in their first weekend. Thing couldn't be looking better for Microsoft. The 360 has multiple killer apps with 90+ average ratings, but all the PS3 has is the monumental bomb that was Lair, and Heavenly Sword, which is averaging about 80/100 in reviews. Hardly the killer app they needed...
You realize this article is completely meaningless in the big picture right? Halo 3 shattered ever sales record, and when you go on Xbox live there are literally 100,000 of people online playing, and enjoying, Halo 3. I'm not defending Microsoft, just pointing out that this is a minor detail that won't detract from the experience unless you're a total anal-retentive pillow biter.
It was BioShock backlash. Anything that is stupendously good and popular is always going to be met with an “I’m going to disagree for the sake of disagreement!” attitude by some. BioShock is definitely one of the best games I’ve ever played, and certainly the best next-gen game thus far, so it deserves every 10 out of 10 it got.

I would bet Jack Tretton himself is responsible for this. Sony has a long record of this sort of thing, from arrogant grandstanding (The next generation starts when we say it does!) to simply insidious business practices. Those who've already decided that Sony is teh cool! will ignore the reality, but we all know the bigger a-holes work for Sony and it shows in the way they treat their own fans and the competition.

I can't wait. I loved 2k7, and 2K8 looks much better. I hope they make batting slightly easier though, that was my only complaint.
