They're already doing a PC port so I can't imagine them not doing a current gen port.
@sweebdog "parity" happened with the PC along with a good lack of optimization. The intentionally blocked PC users from accessing better graphic options.
Not only that i can use it on another tv with my Tablet's hdmi out.

I'm not surprised. They did the same thing with the ps2 games once they truly started focusing on the ps3/360.

I'd buy it if they ported the andorid/ios version. It had improved graphics, checkpoints among other things. Plus the framerate/resolution boost would be nice.
Nope, Netflix locked that out same with hulu and amazon according to a couple reviews i've seen. Plus netflix has come out and said they have no plans for vita tv which doesn't surprise me as the regular vita netflix app had issues.
Well most of them have had issues. With google behind it i think it could do better than most have. Plus it is the first device to use android tv making it more than just a console. The biggest issue i have with it is the internal storage.
Well it focuses on two things tv and gaming which is why it is named Playstation (gaming) tv (media). If they only meant to launch it toward gaming only then they have screwed up the identity of the product. If they were just going to push it towards gaming they should have just called it the vita tv as it would imply it plays vita games on the tv.
Sony and making plans for anything vita has unfortunately been lacking for ages now. It's a shame really, the vita and ps tv could be so much more had sony actually tried.
Some people like to get what they paid for. Ps4 owner's have better hardware so why do they have to get a lesser experience because of the other console especially when the extra power is easy to use? It won't stop me from buying their games, but I can understand someone who is bothered by it.
Spoiled brats is a bit harsh. People where promised a product (both driveclub and ps plus to play online) and they didn't get it in a fully functional way, are there people who might take it too far? Sure, but that can be said about alot of things. Hopefully they fix it soon because i wanna give it a go with the free version
I'm not surprised it was a screw up. They could patch games to work with it, but to say it will work with every classic controller/pro controller game wouldn't have worked. There are too many buttons missing on the gamecube controller to work that way. Hopefully we see some patches.
Sony didn't sell crash or spyro at all. They had a deal with universal and they ended up with the rights to the games and through various mergers it ended up in activisions hand. It's probably one of the reason why sony tries to own all ips they publish.
What i'm worried about is the games that support four shoulder buttons or the r3/l3 buttons. Do the new gamecube controllers have those buttons or will the controls be modified?
Yeah even sony was an investor in polygon at the beginning of their site. People will do anything to devalue a person's opinion.
That's funny considering sony was among the initial backers of polygon according to a forbes article a few years back.
@volkama if you haven't noticed they've already been slowing down on the aaa games for plus and giving out more indie games. Not that it's a problem, but i can almost promise you that it's cheaper on them so they could invest that money. The reason why psn doesn't have the structure of xbox live is simply xbox live has had more to invest in it from subscriptions which have been going on since 02.
