Being that its from the same guys who brought you HULK: Ultimate Destruction and as I can tell its basically the same type of "Sandbox" Destruction game with a twist.
I just picked up my copy this evening (PS3) and I'm quite satisfied with the results....it looks and runs fantastic in my opinion. Its a must buy for any PS3 sports fan.
but my HD TV has these magical options that allow me to ADJUST my screen. I can make it darker or lighter, more saturated or even sharper....imagine that...its truly MAGICAL. Oh and by the way in my opinion this video comparison just helped me realize people are TOO damn nick-picky. There wasn't anything in that comparison that says the 30 to 60 fps really matters. I remember the days when the football games where 16 bit and was maybe a step up from Electronic Football (thats old school vibr...
The only way to do KING CONAN justice is CG in the same way they are doing BEOWOLF. Since Arnold could still offer his voice work and not his actual self to the role...I think it could still be done. It will all depend on the success of BEOWOLF.
That there are people who are unfamiliar with Frank Frezetta's work, especially with The Conan Series. Nudity was a main staple in his work....this game is an omage to him as an artist.
5-10 Mil probably split between CHOW-YUN-FAT and the License from John Woo to do the game. The rest spent on development. Still whatever it costs it looks like money well spent.
Wait til you see Resident Evil 6, cause I heard it takes place in a children's Hospital that also has a puppy and rainbow factory in its basement which is runned by little old ladies and kisses......who turn into ZOMBIES and you must save the world of there evil flesh eating disease. Oh and the main character is a paraplegic Albino with turettes and fancies Black & White silent films about plants.
I'm picking up my BLU-RAY copy tomorrow and possibly Pathfinder as well.
This demo was done months ago on an earlier build of the game.....thats why it showed up on HEROES when it did, and that episode of HEROES was filmed months before it aired. Plus the Devs have mention the bugs in the demo and have said they have since fixed them. I have no worry that they will ship a tip-top version of this game.
The dude was dominating the whole match. Nice, can't wait to play this.
Its funny that someone has DISAGREED with what I do on average with my PS3. I guess I'll have to check my windows to see if your spying on me.
On an average day I'll boot up, check the store. Play one of the newer games I've just got (Darkness,Rainbow 6, Motorstorm...etc.) and then when I'm done I actually surf the net (usually stop by here for latest news) then finish off by plying Stardust or whatever NEW Demo or game I may have recently DownLoaded. That in its self is about 2 1/2 hours before i head to bed. P.S. I'm still playing through FF12 and GOW Titan mode. So now just waiting for The onslaught of games to come. Also I'm in ...
Do they always get these cheesy voice over actors to do these games. Man this game makes The Darkness seem it took place in Hawaii. Hope it just bad video compression cause man its a little too dark. The main dude sounds like SOLID SNAKE!

Isn't that the point of the scaled back E3 to reduce the cost of Booths and Extra BS that usually surrounds E3's of the past. I'm guessing Tecmo probably wouldn't have went in either case. I mean for crying out loud most of the Devs and Publishers are holding meetings in Hotel conference rooms. I guess the Marriot is too pricey these days.

Wow, surprised he didn't by accident figure out how to exit a vehicle.....TAP SQUARE MAN! and on that note, its fun to be in a jeep thats on fire cause its going to blow, and what I do is drive it at the enemy, and there reaction is to shoot me but right before i'm on top of them I bail from the Jeep and send it hurdling right at them as it explodes then follow it up by a few well placed grenades. AND THE INCLUDED HEADSET at retail is a must buy.
The bad guys in this (the ones in black) look a lot like the soldiers in Jin-Roh/Killzone almost to a fault, down to the red eyes and helmets.
