The reason why 360 was so successful is because people actually buy mostly new games, that why its developers choice... You other people champion Sony, but be nice and buy games.... Brand new.... Go on... Make a lifestyle change....
Choice... No choice.... This way though developers know everyone has kinect, so much less risk involved in developing... Same thing happened with broadband on original XBox, heralding on line multiplayer as we know it.... Sure its risky at that price for X1, but might pay off in long run.

They did very well in 2 markets previously Absolutely DOMINATED by Sony, In the US, by about 10 million units and in UK, not sure how many.
