Well, that's kinda how it works. If something is very popular and is enjoyed by "millions", then yes, it is generally "good" to those people.
Just because you or I don't like something that is popular, that doesn't mean it is bad. In fact, we'd be the ones in the minority.

When ever I hear (or see) so called "hardcore" gamers complaining about the industry going more "casual", all I can think is "Well, get your butts out there and spend some money on your hobby! You've got no one to blame but yourselves!"
The only reason its going more casual is because the casual games can sell much more and cost a lot less to make. If you were a game maker, would you rather spend 30 million to make a game that MIGHT sell ...

Probably true, but that doesn't automatically make it the best choice for every type of game. My family and I have been playing A LOT of Kinect Adventures and Kinect Sports the last week and a half and I can't think of one game that would play better with a standard controller. In fact, I think they would be boring as hell being played with a controller. Half of the fun of Kinect is really being able to "get in the game". It's a blast!

If it took the devs an extra 6 months to make the game the same as the 360 version because it takes longer to code on the PS3, would the PS3 owners (including me) be willing to pay more for a game since it was more expensive to make? I don't imagine that would go over very well.
I don't think anyone didn't think it wouldn't eventually happen. I'm more suprised and impressed that MS gave Sony a real run for it's money this gen. Good job to both.

If they are trying to convince hardcore gamers into buying Move, don't most hardcore gamers already know what Move is capable of and whether or not it fits into their "gaming style"?

I can't imagine there would be very many pirates that would buy a PS3 after their 360 gets banned. Isn't their whole reason to pirate is to get the games for free? If a pirate switched to the PS3 and had to buy all their games, they could only buy about 6 games for the same price as getting another 360 and getting all it's games for free.

Yeah, it may not be the exact same thing but have you used Your Shape? I know in most of the trailers for the game it shows your in game character as the blob looking thing but you have a lot of skins you can choose from and one of them is an actual overlay of you like in Kung Fu Live. And, your in game character has 3d tracking that is done amazingly well.
I have watched many videos of Kung Fu Live as I'm thinking about downloading it. Looks stupidly fun! :)
