I would assume they are trying to get the multi console owners to buy their (360) version instead of the PS3 version. I have both consoles (all 3 actually) and even though I probably wont buy the maps, I would have gotten them for the 360 since it was available. My son and my nephew have both consoles also and they did buy the maps since they were available.

I know this isn't exactly the same thing but in Joyride you can hold any item up and it will be scanned and your in game car will be exactly the same color of whatever you held up. It doesn't matter what item you use. We were trying all kinds of different colored stuff and it worked flawlessly!
As a multi console owner, why would I not want to take these comparisons in to consideration before buying a game? I don't have any of this weird crazy allegience to a particular console so why wouldn't I want to get the best performing/looking version for my money?
