I just don't get that point though.. You say that the PC version is the one to get mainly because it can do 60fps but mine can't so it doesn't make a difference.
It might even run worse on my PC than the PS4 so how on earth should it be "the one to get" for me?
But my PC wouldn't run it at 60fps, so there's that..
I doubt that it needs it but it definitely would've given a different experiece concidering the massive amount of particles.
When I was playing the originals as a kid, I didn't know anything about frame rates but I remember thinking that for some reason, those Ratchet & Clank games feel more fluid than the other games.
I'm usually not the one shouting for 60fps but in this case I'm slightly dissapointed. Probably just because I used to rem...
PSTV is about $70 here. I'll just rather use this free and "stupid" feature with my laptop mate..

So do you just drag a 50 foot hdmi cable from a room to another? What if the bedroom is on the second floor for example. Remote play would be a much easier solution imo..
We need a break.. break from all these futuristic gimmick shooters. The last COD that I played properly for the whole year was the first Black Ops. I'm definitely looking for a new Call of Duty but they've just been way out of my comfort zone lately..

That way consoles would lose their best aspect. If we get rid of the single hardware system we're going to see poorer optimization over time since there would be so many variations. You would most likely be better with a proper PC if that starts to happen..

Imagine if this kind of thing becomes a trend, we might see a new updgraded console every year like iPhones and that will be the moment traditional console gaming is going to die.
I wouldn't mind too much since PC gaming is doing good but I've just always preferred the simplicity of consoles. I would definitely miss them..

I remember getting Uncharted 3, Battlefield 3, Payday, Saints row 3rd, Need for speed Most wanted, Mafia 2, Spec Ops, Assassins creed 3 and Far Cry 3 just between june and september in 2013. It was awesome!
PS3 got plenty of AAA games that were just a year or even less old. The PS4 has been out for 2 years and 4 months... That argument doesn't work anymore.

It feels like 80% of this week has just been about PS4K, Nintendo NX controller, Red dead redemption 2, Gta VI etc. rumors.
And even if the screen would be 4k the PS4.5 should be like 10x more powerful to even concider running any VR game in that resolution. It would cost easily over $1000.. Never going to happen.
Fifa is a lot better if you have loads of friends playing. You can play Pro Clubs with up to 10 friends at the same time and the league/division system makes it exciting and long lasting.
Rocket league is also fun though. I think it works better with non sport fans compared to Fifa.

Just lol at the people disagreeing with you. People who think that this game doesn't look good have ridiculously high standards. There are very few open world games that look as good or better..

Laying the complete map as darkzone would be an incredibly stupid move. Huge amount of players would completely lose the interest to this game.. Maybe it could be a different mode where the whole map would be the Darkzone and you could get better gear etc. but no way it should be forced!

At least in Europe in 2012 PS+ had games like Warhammer 40k(Sept.2011), Infamous 2(June.2011), Little big planet 2(Jan.2011), Motorstorm Apocalypse(March 2011), Deus Ex Human Revolution(Aug.2011), Dead Space 2, Borderlands, Just Cause 2(Jan.2011), Red Dead Redemption(May.2010), Bulletstorm(Feb.2011), Resident Evil 5, Crysis 2(March.2011), Batman Arkham City(Oct.2011) etc.
January 2013 had Bioshock 2.. Assassins Creed 3 and Far Cry 3 came ...
All you people saying that it won't affect PS4 at all and the devs could just add sliders like on the PC.. You have no idea what you're talking about. The PS4.5 would definitely bring more work to devs and make the PS4 a "secondary device".
I also doubt that most devs would make a 30fps game work at 60fps on the PS4.5. They would most likely just push the graphics even further and maintain the 30fps.. This might be the end for traditional console gaming if...
