you've never played a game that doesn't have DRM. Read your user agreement
So my issue with this is when you start asking your GPU to do CPU tasks are you not potentially giving up GPU power that could be used to render graphics/textures? I mean, computational tasks aren't free, right?
so I see this type of comment quite often when people are referring to MS cloud. There isn't a room full of servers somewhere that has a CRACKDOWN sticker slapped onto it that they will simply unplug someday. Crackdown is calling requests to the platform MS azure. As long as MS azure is up and running, the games that utilize it are going to work. If you check out Azures quarterly results you'll quickly realize that it isn't going anywhere for a very, very long time
yeah I don't know about that. Red faction has a pretty strong cult following, where those who played it, loved it.
So, I've been following the XB1 and its cloud capabilites since the XB1 was announced. From what I've gathered it is free for any developer to tap into the power of MS azure, there are no additional licensing fees BUT there is almost certainly a cost associated with how much or often it is used. I say this because this is exactly how MS already bills companies and startups who utilize the service
IMO this means, that this technology will mostly be reserved for MS fir...
looks gorgeous. definitely want to give this a try sometime
What Mark Cerny meant is its not ever gonna work on Playstation. He's probably right. They are to busy perfecting the technology of charging you again for the games you already own
so I need to be connected to the internet to play this games multiplayer?? What a scam !
All of Titanfall AI is computed in the cloud. Its not just dedicated servers
I'd love one. There has never been a disc of any sort in my XB1
hahaha
obvious troll is trolling
Destiny and Watchdogs for me.
what?? Uncharted 2 was fantastic. Uncharted 3 is pretty overrated though
I'll play games, you play sales
I actually get more of a monster hunter vibe from Horizon just because of the traps and stategy required to bring down the dinobots. In scalebound it looks like ya take em down with brute force.
Both look awesome
the game plays spectacular and every games presser we see it just looks better and better. I cannot believe I am getting Halo5 and Fallout4 in a few short months. What a year to be a gamer
@maniamayhem
I see you've only got two bubble maniamayhem but you've used them wisely on this thread.
