I kinda like mandatory installs. Particularly if they save me from having to buy something else just to play a game HD. Even though my console is HD.
It's hit or miss for me. I don't buy COD DLC, but buy the games. I do buy LBP DLC and will buy the GT5 DLC, so it really depends on the game. I would've bought the hell outta Singularity SP DLC...if they had even planned on making it. Such a great game.
My guess is a 10. While their scale is flawed and only serves as protection when criticized, SOME of their reviews aren't shit.
The first 2 games certainly didn't set the charts on fire when released, but sold well into the millions. R3 will be no different.
Time to get the request off submitted!
Nice! I'm buying it. Can't wait!
I'm probably going to just get the WiFi model and keep it movin'. This is the first handheld I've really looked forward to.
Wasn't that said about this generation? Regardless, I don't want to see the end of consoles or a unified "one platform for all" system. I like what MS, Sony and Nintendo are doing, enjoy the competition and the innovation it creates.
Because hopefully people would read more than the title and see he was just interested in console play with achievements. Personal preference. I'm interested in the same with trophies.
Isn't Silent Hill already on the store?
I like GT5, but can appreciate something like Forza 4. Neither is a bad game.
@Jelly
What PS exclusive ever flies off the shelf? They usually total sells well over the millions, but they just don't do it in 4 days or whatever.
If it's fun and plays well, I'm fine with it. It's like those old "What if" comics from years ago. What if Superman crashed in Gotham and was found by the Waynes, What if Spidey never got the symbiote suit off...it's fun. Nothing wrong with that.
That and they've never played infamous2.
It's Capcom man. That version of 3 would be 2 DLC packs. The first would be the difficulty level. Then they'd release Vergil.
Bubs dude. Now that was some truth.
I love it when avatar-less people proclaim "fact" in their post, like their infinite wisdom decrees it so.
I really wasn't a huge fan of Spidey 2, but loved Ultimate Spiderman. I also really enjoyed Shattered Dimensions, but Edge of Time just felt...half hearted. Voice acting was really good and I continually laughed every time Spidey 2099 exclaimed "shock" instead of some "normal" vulgarity. But damn if that ending wasn't straight up bullshit. And what's up with the entire game being in a lame office building?
@CloseSecond
That applies to so many games in general, at least use specifics from R3 to make your point. The story was very good, the best in the series. Seeing the effects on the planet from catching a Chimeran ass whipping was awesome. The ammo was no different than any other game and the health...we're so used to regenerating health, where all you have to do is run and hide, fill back up and go, I struggle to see your point. The character animations weren't ZOMG, but they ...
Speech is software driven. Kinect simply has a mic array. Personally, I'm not convinced, since I was using voice commands in Rainbow Six on the original Xbox.
@Ayepecks "Kinect’s internal hardware is what makes it possible, not just its microphones." What hardware? They removed the proc. It's basically mics and cams. It just seems like smoke and mirrors to make Kinect seem like "Hey! Look at these core games with Kinect on the cover!" Like I said,...
Did you ever consider that up to Natal and then the release of Kinect, hardcore gamers were the focus? Then it magically morphed into kiddie cam as less and less useful, core functionality was obtained. I want Kinect, the potential is ridiculous, but I want more than is offered now.
