Nah, typo on nintendoeverything's part. It sold 273
Good read.
That's funny. I could have sworn Mario Kart 8, Smash Bros, X, Zelda, DKCRTF, Watch Dogs, and many other games are still in the pipeline for the console.
I guess those are all getting canceled.
Thanks for the heads up.
@Johnny
Indie developers have been able to self-publish on Wii U for months now. Nintendo actually is more indie friendly than Sony or Microsoft. Indie devs get a free unity license when the become Nintendo developers.
Late to the party? Wii U is the only console that supports it.
Care to point out a problem?
Sony would go further into debt if they actually bought Nintendo.
Oh wow! Big surprise!
I believe this is where I say "No sh*t".
Most of it coming from Nintendo platforms.
For once, I kind of agree with you here. Unfortunately, on N4G, people feel forced to bring up Sony because 90% of the userbase here isn't capable of realizing the fact that neither of these companies are doomed.
Just wait till the dust settles. Eventually you get used to these repeat doom articles.
Pro tip: You don't have to rail on a company to show that you're not a loyal follower.
You don't do much think at all really
Yet another website misinterprets the news (probably purposely). They aren't "considering smartphones". They're considering making demo-like applications with the goal of bringing people to their hardware. Its a form of advertisement. You're not going to see Super Mario 3D World on your Galaxy Note.
He's actually wrong most of the time (could link you to a prediction accuracy analysis if you wanted as well).
The times that he is right are for really obvious stuff like GTA4 selling well.
Great article with a level headed analysis.
How do you justify that purchase when you can buy a PS4 for $400?
You can't play some of the highest rated games of the year on PS4. Wii U is also $100 cheaper with 1-2 free games. PS4 and Xbox One aren't really threats to Wii U in this regard. The problem is that games just now started coming out for Wii U when they should have back in 2012 and early 2013. This goes back to what I was saying by you can't market what you don't have.
Sony had g...
Would you guys stop spreading rumors? Next thing you know people are going to hold off buying a Wii U thinking that Nintendo is going to can it.
