I feel the same way about PS4 and Xbox One. Not many games I want on those systems and the ones I do want are on PC and/or Wii U.
Unless it's a case where we haven't heard from Nintendo since E3 and it doesn't sound like they are doing anything more with the Wii U, counting the console out just seems like an irrational thing to do. Of course, not everyone thinks rationally.
Read the reviews and see which one sounds like you. Then you might want to look at some gameplay trailers to see if you really want to get this game.
"Basically the point im getting across is, im not willing to pay hundreds of dollars/pounds extra when i don't think there is hundreds of $/£ difference."
Except nobody pays hundreds of dollars for a single game. Contrary from popular believe, PC gaming offers more than just better visuals, as it also offers capability and speed. I've also never heard of someone buying a PC only for gaming ;). But that's another discussion for later.
But you wouldn't take Dishonored on console over Dishonored on PCs given the choice (Unless you're a fanboy)
Therein lies the point.
The console version would have to offer something extra that doesn't come with the PC version to be taken over the PC version (Such as Wii U with it's added GamePad support).
It's not a claim. It's explaining a fact.
The only way you'll see better graphics on console is if the developer purposely makes the PC version look worse (i.e. getting paid off by Sony, MS, and/or Nintendo, though Nintendo isn't really in the business of paying off).
Most of the time, that never happens though.
Console gamers will never get a game that looks as good as game such as the ones coming exclusively to PC below and ...
TLDR: Author gets increasingly bored of Zelda with each edition for his own reasons.
Sell your Wii U.
Funny how you try so hard not so sound like a troll yet you aren't trying hard enough.
You mention practically every other platform out there as alternative to a Wii U yet you act like they won't be alternatives to each other as well (Showing that you don't have any interest in being unbiased).
Then you actually have the audacity to talk about EXCLUSIVES being the only thing holding Nintendo back when exclusives are what sell your system. By logic...
Looks like you finally caught on to why this article was made ya troll.
@iamnsuperman
3DS Price Drop was July 28th, 2011 ( http://www.nintendo.com/wha... After that followed Star Fox 64 3D on Sept. 9, followed by Super Mario 3D Land in November, Mario Kart 7 in December and Kid Icarus: Uprising in March.
This is what I meant by the price drop not really doing anything in comparison to the release of a slew of games:
Price cut doesn't do anything without a simultaneous release of games. A price cut alone didn't help the 3DS or Vita.
In fact, there was barely a surge in sales after the price cut of the 3DS. The HUGE spike came after 3D Land and Mario Kart 7.
But nice try ;)
Last minute flame bait articles.
I too have a causal side to me even though I don't play COD (Think games in the Wii series).
I just hope people don't think being popular with the casuals is a bad thing. That's what happens when you've created a game that can be appreciated by the masses.
Except it's not news that the Wii U didn't grow as expected. I'm pretty sure exactly nobody thought the Wii U would sell with no software. I was starting from when Nintendo started releasing games.
25k lmao.
Well, this is N4g.
"And releasing a console that is barely as powerful as current gen in the wake of next gen was an extremely stupid thing to do in my opinion."
There's no difference in knowledge about the Wii U between you, who still insists is less powerful than current gen, and some of the public, who thinks it might be a peripheral. In fact, you're even worse. You know the Wii U has proven itself to be much more capable than that yet you promote false information anyways ...
Yeah, let's talk about Wii U not growing as expected when Wii U sales have been on a pretty big rise with the release of just one remaster. In fact, let's not point out any of the potential problems the competition might face.
Totally not a one-sided article.
@josephayal
Hey, I got my Wii in 2008. ;)
