I doubt we'll ever see a proper sequel to either of those franchises, I think Spiderman will be a trilogy at least and they will be busy with it for years like Rocksteady was with the Arkham games.

Back then yes, for posterity no. The ps2 gen was still in the infancy of 3d and they hadnt figured out cameras and controls yet. It wasn't till the tail end where we started to really get there. There were good games but even those were flawed. Look at mgs2 controls and shooting were still awful. Hate on COD all you want but they standardized the way we use controllers now into a much more comfortable and natural way

well they will show a new halo and Forza, but besides that and 20 more controllers I don't see them really doing anything besides 3rd party and timed exclusives.
