Streaming seems to be their path but I feel the smarter path is to make a console that bridges PC and console fully.

I bought a 360 and 4 months later it red ringed I returned it to best buy and got a ps4, that too broke 4 months later but due to turning it off with the back switch which later they warned you about. My second ps4 finally broke last year and 8 years seems a good build, I doubt there is a single launch 360 that made it 8 years
