you do know even the xbox exclusives were developed on pc...looked better and then they cranked the resolution down to 720p...640p...600p...576p...or the new low 540p...ouch (alan wake) just so it could run at 20-30 frames per second...on console ..when it was running at 60 frames per second and in 1600p while being developed...that's called degridation of the original product in my book ...

I have not looked at spec requirements on a box in years...my 3 PC's can play ANYTHING...and it always looks better on my pc than on my consoles.

lets be honest, it's best looking games... Uncharted 1 and 2, god of war 3 and killzone 2 are all very linear...scripted events, 720p and sometimes less, that run at 30 fps or less...they are absolutly beautiful games but how much sweeter would they look at 1080p...1200p....1600p at 60 frames per second. Consoles are great entry points for gamers...but when gaming becomes a true passion, you should treat yourself to the wonder that is PC gaming...

are the people who's first bioware game was mass effect 1. Which was, in all honesty, a mediocre rpg, mass effect 2 was MUCH worse. All you did was find peple and then kiss their asses to make them like you. It was a space high school popularity contest sim. Dragon age was an 8 for me...good game but so much potential wasted to make it "accesible".

The dumbing down for the masses kills worthy ideas. Baldurs gate 2 shadows of amn literally makes every recent bioware effort look like it was created for simpletons....and in a way....they (dragon age, mass effect) were.
both consoles choke on most games that are at 1280x720 and barely turn out a playable framerate*...
*if you find 20-30 frames per second playable I feel bad for you.
