sli is a waste in most cases, coming from a dual 285 gtx owner, you better off buying the best single gpu you can afford, there are not many games designed for sli or crossfire configs, most rarely utilize it.
There are very few games, percentage wise, that support sli fully.
a 470 would have been a better choice with a cheaper cpu, cpu gains are SHOCKINGLY small, same wiith ram, the single most important component is the gpu, skrimp on the rest if you must, ...

the console version of gta4 looked so shitty, muddy, jaggie, low res, barf inducing it was hard to play on my ps3, then i got it later for my pc and ...WOW!!!! it looked like a new engine, everything was crisp and jaggies almost all gone, lol...but by the time it came out for pc, i was bored with it, played some mp and goofed around killing nps's, but yeah...gta games for me, are hard too playthough again.

for pc with world at war was freaking stellar, everything was free, all maps, zombie maps, everything, free, and 8 patches addressing balancing and such, with dedicated servers....it better stay this way for black op's, that is what we expect from a pc game!
